I found an interesting post from a 'low libido' woman's perspective in /r/deadbedrooms

http://www.reddit.com/r/DeadBedrooms/comments/19t25m/from_the_ll_side/

She describes her blue pill life, touching on all of the points we make here. She rode the carousel and regrets it and it's affecting her ability to be affectionate with her husband. I have no idea what this husband's actual problems are, but I would like to disect what she has written, because it's instructive to men who are considering long term monogamy.

I wasn't always this way. I used to be very attractive. I was frequently hit upon by strangers, flirted with, and generally aware of my power as a beautiful woman. I had many passionate relationships and enjoyed sex to the point that it had quite a bit of power over me. I didn't always make great choices when it came to getting laid.

She lived in the moment, like most women do. She had power over men and relished it. She rode the carousel, most likely at the complete mercy of her hypergamy. You see how she was set up for failure by the teachings of other women? She was told to wield her power to her own maximum benefit and only think about what makes her happy in the moment. She never contemplated the long term effects of her behaviour. She never considered the wall, because that was something in the future and didn't matter to how she felt in the moment.

I'm older now. 43 + 20 extra pounds. Not very overweight, but not where I should be. Wrinkles, a few gray hairs. Married for 10+ years, stay-at-home mom to three young children.

10 years hey? So that would have made her 33 right? So she found a nice guy when the wall started to approach and she knew she needed a provider nice guy fast so she could have children. See how her immediate needs are all that are considered again? This poor guy. She was never really into him, but she is completely unaware of these facts. Now that the marriage is routine and the children are older, what does she have left?

Back in college, but totally and completely invisible to the young students around me.

She has a husband she was never attracted to, no more life goals to look forward to, and no more attention from men she actually finds attractive. This was all predictable based on how she lived her life.

I feel like my days of being attractive are over. My time to be sexy & to enjoy sex is over. No one is ever going to hit on me or flirt with me ever again. I'm completely detached from my body, in the sense that sex feels foolish to me.

You see how this is still all about her and her immediate feelings? You see how her husband has ZERO ability to make her feel attractive. She was never into him. His validation means absolutely nothing. She wants validation from other, more high value men. She's done with her husband. Her insecurities overpower her ability to be reactionary to her husband, even if he has a masculine frame. It's not about him. He's boring and familiar and has served her purpose. She wants to be validated as an object like she was when she was younger. Her husband could come on to her, be alpha, tell her how hot she is, ask her to work out with him, and overall provide a frame of guidance to try and help her, but it would all be useless. She's completely controlled by her solipsistic, hypergamic, emotional nature.

This all makes me sad. I don't want to be this way. I want to be young, and beautiful, and sexy and sexual. I want someone to think I'm hot. I wish my self worth wasn't derived from the perceived opinions of others.

Her validation as a sexual object was all she was and now it's gone and she's depressed about it. She could have avoided these feelings by being proactive. By not being a slave to her hypergamy and the power she had as a young woman at her SMV peak. She could have used that power to find a good alpha man at the time and worked to be a woman he would want to marry. I suspect she didn't do that. She probably dumped each of them in turn as she sought new and more validation. Guys get boring quickly when she's after that next high. I think this is a text book example of the effects of hypergamy unchecked. It makes her miserable and by proxy her husband (and his misery is also completely his fault as well I'm sure because he played her game).
