First of all, she's speaking to high-schoolers and younger in Harlem, which is a relatively poor neighbourhood. She's telling poor girls to stay in high-school instead of dropping out to be a single mom. Which is legit advice. If even one of those girls decides to break up with her Chad McNigga boyfriend before he impregnates her, America is slightly better off for it.

The first lady also urged students to have patience and push through their four years of high school and not let the small things frustrate them. “You don’t want to look back when you’re 60 and regret that you just didn’t have the patience to push through these four years of mess,” she said.

I don't see how she's blaming boys. She's telling the girls that they're too distracted.

It's frustrating when TRP is quick to interpret something through pre-existing biases at the expense of critically examining an issue. C'mon guys.

Fine, lets give her what she wants and lets say what she says is true.

BUT, then the same is also true for men (as TRP says everyday). And IMO, 10x as important.

Men, there is no girl cute enough or interesting enough to stop you from working on your goals. Instead focus on your hobbies, career, business, STEM education, gym life..

If its true for women, even with their maximum 15 yr useful timespan, it sure as hell is true for men with atleast 30-40 of useful life.

An education is a good fallback for a woman to have; don't get me wrong.

But her degree + career can't bear healthy children; and men that can pass her (probably unrealistic) standards are not going to be willing to commit to a woman that threw away the majority of her fertility window. A few fun rolls in the hay, sure. But not commitment. Smart men reserve that for women they can expect to build a healthy family with.

I mean, I can certainly go to the arcade and buy $500 worth of tokens. I can take those tokens with me. But I'm pretty sure I can't use those tokens to pay my rent or buy groceries. And all the foot stomping and screaming that it isn't fair won't change that. So I'd best not blow all my cash on tokens unless I'm fine with staying at the arcade.

Feminism has done women a great disservice in teaching them that they can have it all, which is false. Not even men under "The Patriarchy" got to have it all. There is a price for every priveledge, even if unseen and unappreciated by a biased observer.

What about the XX million boys around the world who can not go to school ? In many third world countries families are more willing to spend money on daughters going to school as opposed to men.

The logic is simple, a man can do a trade while most women can not. That means the boy can start bringing in an income right away. The investment in education for the woman makes sense for two reasons.

Women can not practice a trade, so with an education like nursing she gets higher income opportunities. The second reason is they want to get the girl to marry up. Without higher education she can not.

This will generate that same effects as all her other announcements ie. #bringhomeourgirls. Did it raise awareness? Did it change the fate of those girls one iota? No. Her school lunch program that feeds 45% of US youth is plagued by massive waste and child obesity has actually gone up since the program inception in 2010. This will be no different. Girls in the US are not denied education because of their sex, it's most often poverty. What has happened to poverty levels since 2008? They've gone up. She's a shill for the MSM..another cog in the Narrative.
