Why do women care if a man is just enjoying his day off/relaxing yet they are allowed to do nothing and reap all the benefits.

Honestly. I've been in situations where I'm supposed to be a guest at a girlfriend's house for a party, except at some point I gotta do stuff like buy more beers or watch the kids because moms need a break. And I wasn't even married.

Also, go to a pool or a resort. It's dad interacting with the kids while mom sunbathes, perhaps trying to get the horny poolboys to look at her. And the excuse is, moms do alot around the house. Well, it's good that dads also need to pass time with their kids, but dads work their asses off, or how would it be possible to afford vacations. Yet nobody bothers to say, hey, let dads drink a beer poolside or let them play a round of poker with other men at the casino.

No actually my mom never did that. Atleast I never picked up on it.

My dad would bust his ass as a single provider. My mom would sit on her ass all day watching TV and lounging around the house.

I remember my dad would come home after working all day and the house was dirty. He'd get mad. The house wouldn't be cleaned so my dad had to hire a maid to clean it. Eventually when the marriage failed he still had to pay up alimony to her for years. :/

Yep I feel this 100%. I quit my job like 3-4 weeks ago and I'm studying a course but I don't have a job right now. I'm living off like 30K savings (early twenties, live at home, I've got an investment property that covers the mortgage, gym I paid for upfront so I have fuck all expenses currently), doing my course that will get me into uni and learning about trading options. Mom sat me down today and told me I needed a job ASAP.

Not just marriage but any dude I know in a serious relationship pretty much has all of his free time (not at job) spoken for. I do a podcast and my co-host is married. Sometimes he tells me not to upload episodes right away because his wife thinks he's at the office.

God this reminds me when I was married. I had off from work and wanted to relax and watch a movie or play a game. She'd say there's cleaning that needs to be done. I'd say fine, but after I'm done here.

She'd then proceed to clean the area that needed cleaning but doing it in the most obnoxious and loud way possible. So now when I thought I'd be able to enjoy something I can't.

Should have just left every time she got like that.

Working your ass of at a job is not enough. You will never enough money for her. It also takes time away from you being "useful" to her. Can be at work and be around to help her you are just man who cannot multi task.

Here is the kicker. If she has to do any work at all you are not helpful enough to her. What that means is if she has to work at all or do anything she doesn't like you are lowering her status. If you are sitting still you are not productive to her. If you try to enjoy yourself you are not being useful to her and declaring her of lower status.

That's why women get pissed when you have a hobby, play with the kids or doing anything that she has not directed you to do. Status, you are declaring yourself equal or higher to hers. How dare a beta do that.
