Yep in the Western world marriage has become obsolete. Men and women don't need each other for anything other than sex and/or procreation.

I'm just happy I got to at least live during the tail end of the "old days."

The problem is women with college degrees are refusing to marry down.

They say 60% of the college degrees and that number is increasing are being earned by women. These same women are going to college to meet guys so they never have to work again.

Problem is less and less guys are going on to college. When these women get out of school they are demanding guys that have an equal if not higher education than they do. So unless they marry down they are not going to have a husband and are destined to be childless or an unmarried single mom.

I know two women who married down. One is a Nurse (32) with a BS who's husband has a two year technical degree in drafting. The other (25) has a BS in emergency medical care and her husband has a trade school education in welding. She made him go to a six or nine month program to become a Paramedic like her.

What is wrong with marrying a guy who has a job in the trades?

One of my employees her husband is a stone mason and makes close to $80K a year. One of my friends her granddaughter (20) got her CDL in April last year. She will easily clear $60K this year driving a cement truck.

As a man, getting married is literally the dumbest decision you can do, short of maybe committing suicide. The ONLY reason to get married is to have kids... but when you have zero authority over your kids, your wife always gets custody, and you are stuck paying child support for children you will barely see, what the fuck is the point?

And you can tell that society is getting desperate. For example they're trying (or already did) to change laws so that cohabitation now counts as a "marriage" so that they can try to divorce rape more men, because SOMEONE's gotta support all these wahmen. In reality the opposite will happen; more men will go MGTOW and more men will just stop relationships entirely.

And it's going to get worse. Soon, just going on dates will be enough to divorce rape a man, and so men will just stop dating entirely. And then they'll make it to where a woman can point at a man and legally steal half his shit. This crazy train has no brakes, and the irony is that if men just dug their heels in the ground they could stop this shit.

Everything they do is driven by the desire to achieve social media clout. They don’t even love their kids, they love the attention they get from the pictures they post of them.

I dated a single mom and once suggested she put the phone down and enjoy the moment with us (myself and her two kids) and all hell broke loose. “YOU DONT THINK I SPEND TIME WITH MY CHILDREN?” even though I never suggested such a thing.

Social media and women is a dangerous thing.

Correct. Once the marriage is over, the woman deserves jack shit. Sure, children should be supported, but the mom can get a job, certainly when the children are older.

I remember my Dad paid child support. Where it went, I do not know. I wasn't even given lunch money, lol. As to after school clubs, double lol.

On the upside, I'll never marry. It's simply a terrible contract. One side is protected, the other one isn't. Who signs that? A man who loves his girl. Well ok, but I prefer low risk investment strategies.

I wouldn't give a flying fuck if they flipped the laws 180 degrees in mans favor; I still wouldn't be getting married or having kids as I never believed in it and I enjoy my money and freedom. On top of that, what makes you think they won't flip the laws back after you get married and have kids? They can con you big time and a lot of men would be dumb enough to fall for it. Females my age and slightly younger lack conscientiousness, are too agreeable and open to things that are destructive for rearing a family. Most are on antidepressants, drugs, openly disclose their medical history (diseases), or entertain the fact of not having kids.
