PUA came out of the "seduction" community which is a euphemistic way of saying it is a satanic cult.

They trick guys into falling into fefail traps and make the guys think they are trickin' the fefails!

The number of men they sent into the meat-grinder of kids and courts is astronomical! Free booty will cost you your house, car, job... soul!

Don't envy "Chads", fool, they're targeted and most don't last (high risk, low reward).

There are good and useful social techniques in PUA and NLP.

Keeping frame.
Watching your body language and learning the body language of others.
Faking alpha traits. Faking high status.
Abundance mentality and walking away.

These are all useful for more than just getting sex. They are business 101.

Using PUA and TRP to get women is a waste of time and energy. High risk, low gain.

IN a LTR or marriage you cannot keep alpha frame 100% of the time. At some point she'll get bored. You will show a weakness, loss of status and she loses all respect for you if she ever had any respect for you. You become a chump in a sexless marriage or divorce raped.

If you lose you job, you are completely useless, a man of zero status and value in her eyes. Garbage to be tossed aside.

If you pump and dump, you risk #MeToo style attack. A carefully crafted email gets sent to your HR department and female coworkers. When they no long feel comfortable around you, out you go. If you own your own business, mass blast goes out on social media, blogs and reviews. If the posts and emails are well crafted and there is a kernel of truth to them, you might not win the defamation and slander suits. It will cost a lot of money in PR and reputation management to bury those searches.

Use PUA/TRP techniques for what are useful to you. Chasing women ain't useful.

Yeah well, we get a lot of PUA guys here since TRP got shut down. Same with the incel subreddit. We took on a lot of refugees that tend to dilute the MGTOW content.

If I have to act like someone I'm not and can't even be comfortable in my own skin around them it's not worth it. You puy in an act just to pick up women seriously? If I can't be myself and they don't like who I really am I think I'll pass. Like i could try to act like an ahole or that I simply don't care about others.. or that I think I'm so much better than everyone else but I think I'd die inside a little. I'd rather be kind to others, try to be humble and if they don't like that at least I can hold my head high. I've got plenty to offer.. but why bother?

From my POW, the PUA is worthless for exactly what it is aimed for - easy pickup and sex. But, there is a merit in studying PUA techniques, as a sub-section of NLP and social interaction. Just consider it an art of negotiation of sorts and it can come in handy, not for getting laid, but for getting what you want in tricky situations.

I actually think Dan Bacon and Todd V have “good” (for a lack of a better term) advice. Not typical PUA stuff. Todd V actually talks about true female nature but (someone correct me if I’m wrong) if a woman gets away/rejects a guy, he still believes it’s the guys fault because he didn’t know what to do or say based on the woman’s words/actions.

Dan Bacon actually got married and has twin girls. No, not two wives but two kids/toddlers. I still believe he is playing a part like other guys have to in order to keep a woman entertained and will have to continue doing so.

I think knowing how to attract someone or “pick them up” is a useful skill, but it shouldn’t be your sole mission in life or else that’s not very useful in the long run. Definitely helps with increasing your social and business network though because it’s basically just all psychology which is good to know no matter what line of work you go into.

I did PUA for a while. It actually worked for getting laid, but after plenty of lays, I decided it wasn't worth it. I ended up fucking obnoxious women who would treat you like shit if you stuck with them. They weren't very good company for the short term anyway. I knew plenty of PUA dudes who were good at it, but the only thing good they had in their lives was fucking women. If the only value you have in your life is sticking your hard dick into some carousel-rider's cunt, you don't have much of a life. I'm glad I found MGTOW and so I'm leaving all that shit behind. I'm building myself up to a great life. It was a huge revelation when I realized that most women are worthless subhumans who are unworthy of me. I won't share my assets with any of them. I won't share my life with any of them. I no longer even share my dick with them. I know what's valuable now, and it's not them.

Literally knew a guy in high school with the personality of a thumbnail. I was actually more alpha than him because I was more charasmatic and got him to do shit for me. But when it came to female attention he was winning because he was cute. Then later on I got a nice shy girl of my own, she wasn't very popular but as soon as I got with her I elevated her SMV because everyone started to notice her because of me and realise she was actually a lot cuter than they once thought. She got more attention and eventually cheated on me. Still haven't got an apology until today.
