It's best to let that sort of thing happen on its own.
It is already happening by the way.

I think this would help me a lot; I'm following most of the self improvement advice I get on TRP. I was doing all of these things before I found this community, now I do it with more vigor. I'm still grappling the anger phase and some accompanying depression.
In AA they have sponsors for new members (basically a person you contact to help you one on one) and it's instrumental in helping people learn to live a new way of life. I was thinking just the other day about posting in AskTrp about this, glad to see somebody beat me to it.

Here's the thing your post says: if you want to give back to the community but not in a typical "try this workout way". That implies that you may not by trying trp's workout: strong lifts 5x5.
So here's the thing your an edditor so a grown ass man. The Red Pill is Religious about telling people to lift. If you Skype me and your not fucking lifting and a grown motherfucking ass man and not some poor fatherless 18 year old boy I will tear you a new asshole. Because your wasting my and everyone else's time redditing and not Red Pilling.
So yea go ahead and PM me your Skype username but you better at least be trying to lift.

/u/GayLubeOil, you are a cruel, cruel man. You know he's an editor and I'm pretty sure you slipped in errors just to piss the guy off.
I like it.

I'd be interested in this. I can help with anything from a web perspective.

People can hit me up anytime.

We already do this, but as a collective, instead of as a one on one. This is due to the fact that everyone is different, and what one mentor suggests might work for someone else, it might not work for you.
So the biggest part of TRP is to take what you can use, and disregard the rest. Plus, nobody here can (or will), make you do the reading, lifting, etc.... you have to take ownership of it yourself and be a man.

The place to start is to pick up on which members write stuff you like, then follow those members and follow their writing. Typically they'll cover most things in time. Comment on it, show appreciation and add your own perspective. If you've got something worth saying they'll most likely notice you. From there, most guys are open to a chat or smaller problems being addressed by PM, so long as you're not trying to take up too much of their time.
If it hadn't been for a friend on here, I'm not sure I would have been able to get out of my depression phase so quickly.

This is the purpose of asktrp

Asktrp is a customer service rep who puts you on hold before giving a barely-satisfactory and possibly out-of-context answer.
This is a program of Red Pill Apprenticeship. A Morpheus for every Neo.

Mentorship initiatives are fraught with challenges but I'm sure that even if, at the end, only a few pairings work out, it will be worthwhile for the parties involved. There's a person's TRP post history to look up, but perhaps those interested in lending a hand could type a few sentences about themselves which would not only signal their interest in helping another, but also provide some rough pertinent outline on geography, age, career, etc. Maybe this would informally help with better match-ups? These things are often ultimately about some chemistry, but showing availability would be a good start to get the ball rolling if anything.

I know this is an old post but if anyone minds messaging it'd be huge appreciated
I lift I get girls I'm on a good career path and I actively develop skills and work on hobbies but I'm lacking in social mastery
So if anyone is good at that or can point me in the direction of a good book thank you very much
