Well done bro. If you're not already living separately from your family, make it a priority to do so. Preferably at least 30-60 minutes of travel from wherever they live, and don't give them a key. Having a separate household and finances is the best insurance against influence/control/blackmail from your family.

My cousin (29M) started dating a 29yo woman that act like a highschool girl.
My mother proudly said "see he's happy because a man needs a woman of his age"
