knew of mgtow at 17. was a mgtow from the day i read about it. no arguments. no purple pills. straight up red/black. i never had fantasies about girls ( though i loved the childish innocence in their eyes ) and gmow was easy as fuck coz i never was a blue pill simp to start with. never had any relationships. never had any commitments. never had any desire for marriage, a reason being a witness of separation my parents.

i always wondered how and why some random chick, met in college/party can be your soulmate? i mean she has never seen me through my bad times. she has never known me since birth. she will never be able to be more attached to me than my sister( she is a typical cazy girl. but i still hold no contempt for her ). i dont understand how can a random girl just become my soulmate the second i put that ring on.

I agree. I thank my stars. As a pre-teen I never wanted to get married, and decided to put it off until I was thirty, which I thought was old and mature enough to marry.

And each year I grew older I kept moving the goal posts further in age. Then I hit thirty and decided I could get married, as I had options to do so. Have some kids, which I had options to do so, or retire a year later and quit working at all.

Marriage didn’t win out. So I have to suffer doing what I want. Poor me. I guess I’m a lonely incel for not fucking my life up.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm 14 years in on child support plus thousands in lawyers over the years. So much unnecessary drama, pain, and suffering. Women can fuck up your life every bit as bad as alcoholism or drug addiction.

If I could do it all over again, I'd get a vasectomy at 18. Would have changed my whole life.

The only silver lining is that I have a son and I'm giving him age appropriate Red Pill advice on a regular basis. His mom is a real bitch and is giving him real life experience with how shitty women are.

I actually disagree....sorta. 40 next year and always been MGTOW at my core, but back in the day at least chics could be fun. The lack of social media and instant validation with hundreds of thirsty simps helped.

I never married, never cohabitated, but I did enjoy women in doses of a few months at a time or fun flings.

I decided to GMOW very late 20's (nearly 35 now) before I even heard of mgtow, but I consider myself lucky af too. I got away from women with no kids, alimony, stds, or #metoo. It could have been so much different, worse. The only thing I can't get back is my 20's which I wasted simping for women instead of bettering myself and enjoying myself.

I'm 58 and have mixed feelings about finding MGTOW 2 years ago. I've been MGTOW essentially for 15 years (since my divorce) and almost entirely monk for 12 years, before I even heard of these labels. Living that way completely on my own, without the external supports of the MGTOW community, has probably made me a stronger, more independent person. Even going through my marriage was probably a good thing, in that it taught me a lot about women and marriage, and it convinced me on a gut level that it isn't for me. Although it's good to learn from others' mistakes, nothing is as convincing as your own experience.

I've also had plenty of good experience with genuinely intelligent, sensitive, and decent women (not necessarily in relationships, but as colleagues or friends), which I might never have had, if I'd been exposed to MGTOW at an early age. If I heard all this stuff when I was a teenager, without much real-world experience with women, I might get turned off women completely and learn to view them with too much cynicism and negativity. And that could really impair my ability to relate to women in a respectful, kind, and fair way, in the future.

On the other hand, sometimes I do envy guys who're getting exposed to this info at a younger age. It would've saved me a lot of time, effort, and trouble. I was a simp for so many years. I spent so many years dreaming of, and working to find, the right relationship. I idolized women way too much. I bought into the cultural biases. I got married, and after a couple years I ended up miserable, as if I'd lost myself. I divorced on my own initiative, but it was not an easy time in my life. I had to learn the hard way. I've also made plenty of mistakes in picking the wrong sort of woman (e.g., borderliney), simping, or in not recognizing shit tests for what they were -- which I could've avoided, had I been exposed to red pill or MGTOW content a long time ago.

So, pluses and minuses. As usual. :)

Sadly to many men find mgtow/redpill knowledge after a divorce or shitty brake up. I know it was that way for me though I lucked out and my divorce as fairly clean no alimony or child support (as of yet)

As a slightly older guy I'm somewhat envious of the younger guys here! I grew up in a time before Reddit and missed out on all the third-party perspective life lessons that I could have gotten from a subreddit such as this. Instead, I had to learn by suffering through painful mistakes.

I'm 50 now... I got married at 20 divorced at 24....vowed not to get married again, I kept that vow but got suckered and put in baby jailed for 18 years... Now let me say first I llloooved raise 2 daughters (one mine the other from badboy.. But I loved them both..... Till one of them(you can guess which one 😳) turned 16... as many many women these days... Became a narcissistic of the worst kind. (I got into a psychotic episode that had me into the loony bin with 2 weeks in solitary (I have parkingson + the stress she gave me (gaslighting) and the meds I took, that combination will get you there quickly)

Now I wouldn't want to miss raising those kids (I was a stay at home dad.) for anything in the world, that unconditional love you get is awesome that is fill the turn 16 narcissistic AWALTS, then you turn from daddy into a ATM. (guess again which one did.)

Hi! 17 year old dude here! MGTOW is one of the greatest things I’ve ever discovered.

The absolute freedom in knowing how the female agenda works in our society is something every man should have. However, many are and will be plugged in for the rest of thier lives.

This huge advantage allows me to work and live for me. Not to slave away to provide.
