Dave handled it exactly right.

I know some think he should've banged her and never spoken to her again, but what satisfaction is there in that? A stupid lay with a woman he now despises? I'm sure even Dave isn't that hard-up. And if he'd done that, she'd be totally hamstered away cursing how Dave tricked her and what a big scumbag he is.

Instead, he denied the hamster food. Oh yes, she's still desperately trying to hamster the situation so that she's the victim, but she's not having much success as you can see by her post. She doesn't want to admit it, but she realizes she's in the wrong. Because Dave didn't freak out or get mad--he just calmly asked her to leave and permanently removed her from his life.
