I hate/dislike both. But the parents more.

Insurance fraud?

See if I bought a car for an ungrateful brat and she then crashed it, I'd tell her to take the bus from now on, but if I were a loser then I'd buy her a new car. However, I'd also not want to waste my money, so I'd file an insurance claim and have the insurance buy her the new car. So someone just needs to track down this girl and report her and her parents for insurance fraud.

I had to buy my own car, my own insurance, my own gas. if I a crashed it they would forbidden me from driving until I moved out...

They would not have even considered buying me the model or make of car I wanted let alone the color.

I'm not sure why so many are directing their critique toward the parents. It almost acts as a tool to absolve her of any responsibility for her actions. However deluded she is, she is still making the choice herself. It's like blaming all your bad habits on others because of peer pressure.

For all our life my parents were slightly below middle class. We have never been rich. After graduation from highschool they offered me thar they'd buy me a car. I was at that point working for years and saving up for one. But I refused them even to chip in. It was a matter of honor. And my highschool friends mostly did the same with the exeption of 2 guys. But hey are cool. Yet the girls were handed out everything as always. And one girl made a huge deal abou getting a renault (real fine renault I might add) instead of her desired sport alfa romeo (she liked a chad who was into those cars). She wrecked the renault on purpose with the same idea of the bitch in the video. But the girl in my highschool wasn't so lucky. She is using the bus ever since. Her parents did not put up with her shit.
