Never. And even when you “find out”, they tell you things that are maybe half as bad as what really happened.

“We just kissed” means “We fucked”.

When I found out and had 100% proof , she still denied it. Until I told her how I knew. Now I told this girl that if she ever cheated she'd lose me forever and id never talk to her again. So in these final moments of our relationship, she had nothing left to lose by coming fully clean about everything. Meaning that I was giving her the opportunity to clear her conscience and atleast tell me the full truth, like any moral honorable person would want to do, to get rid of their guilt and shame and lies. Keeping her secrets to herself was not going to help her maintain a relationship with me. It was 100% over and no chance of reconciliation but she still wouldn't come clean.

She only admitted just to that one time. But I knew there was more. So I said another guys name and she got quiet and said the most guilty ashamed "no." I've ever heard. It was obviously a lie, but I knew then and there she would never admit to all her transgressions so it was pointless. By the way that guy's name I said? She moved in with him 3 months after our breakup. We had been together 6 years and were planning to move in together, but I caught her cheating and ended it. So she just slid this guy in almost seamlessly and moved right in with him. Obviously their affair had been going on for months, maybe years. I'll never know. Makes me feel sick, angry, and deeply sad that this sort of evilness is so common in women and that they can manipulate and lie like it's breathing. I had no clue. No suspicion of it. Why would I? I'm not going to be in a relationship where I have to constantly worry and stress over what my partner is doing. That's not fun and that's not something I ever want to be a part of. So I guess I'm just the perfect sucker to get lied to and cheated on. Sad.

But u learn from it. Now I just never commit and assume if she's not physically with me, she's probably fucking some other guy. And honestly, who cares, not like I was ever gona marry any of them anyways.

My ex-wife actually admitted her affair to me completely on her own. I didn't suspect a thing and trusted her 100%. She said the guilt was eating her up inside and that she "wanted to fight for us," so she told me everything* and wanted us to go to couples counseling.

Here is where everything gets fucked up and leads to the biggest red pill moment of my life.

At the first (and only) meeting with the couples counselor, we spent roughly 10 minutes talking about how she screwed up and how that made me feel and the other 50 minutes talking about "what I did to make her feel that she needed to have an affair." The counselor basically made one excuse after another for my ex-wife to paint her as the victim. My ex-wife even spent most of that time saying that I did nothing wrong and how she had made a stupid mistake, but by the end of the session, the counselor had convinced her that I had basically "forced" her to cheat on me. My ex completely changed her tone from "her wanting to fight for us" to "how am I going to win her back."

Long story short, I wasn't having any of that shit and we divorced soon after. It was a few years after the fact that I read somewhere that couples counselors heavily favor the woman, because she's the one most likely paying (or telling her husband to pay) for the counseling.

*Or at least as much as she was ever going to admit to.
