Don't feel bad or embarrassed. It's a skill that can be learned, as have many shy men throughout history. The question is, is it worth it?
I went through a lot of very awkward experiences in an effort to learn... and now that I have, I avoid women because I want nothing more to do with them. I'm happier when I'm alone. I suppose, at least, I know now that I've *chosen* this lifestyle, rather than I've been forced into it.
It is a blessing that I learned the skills while I was travelling through various countries, so if there was any negative fallout, I just bounced over to the next place.

It's about knowing your value as a man. If you're broke and unemployed, the last thing on your mind should be women. After that you should make a group of strong male friends. This is what gives you a fall back and leverage. With this, you never spend more than a few minutes trying to judge whether or not she's interested. It’s relatable because we’ve all been through it, but since I’ve seen this response so much during this thread I’m going to address it in case anyone still has this issue. This uncertainty is a combination or low confidence and not polarizing conversation. Let me explain.
If you don’t make it clear you want sex, you won’t get it. Simple. Polarize the conversation to make your intentions clear as soon as possible. No girl is going to fuck you because she doesn’t want to be rude; and if she does, then who cares? You got your objective. If you’re not confident enough in what you’re saying, or in yourself that you think everyone is pitying you; then you’ve got other problems. When it comes down to it, people don’t do things they don’t want to unless it’s for survival. If a girl is interacting with you, she wants to. It’s your job to make sure it’s for attraction, not attention.

I once knew this guy whom would take a selfie with any girl he got a phone number from whenever he got drunk at the bar or club. For a while I just couldn't understand it, I thought he was just trying to put these women at ease since they like smart phones, selfies and social media culture.
