Look through any random page of TRP and you’ll see multiple threads about cheating women. Why are cheating stories so prevalent on TRP? Simple. Because people are afraid. But why exactly are Red Pillers afraid of cheating women?

Are you afraid of losing her? She was never yours.

Afraid of being alone? Abundance mentality. There will be many more women who want you.

Afraid of shame, of others looking down on you? It was her choice to cheat, not yours.

We rationally know that when a woman cheats on us, objectively nothing has changed about us. We are the same as we were before they cheated. We look the same, talk the same, have the same job, are just as good at picking up women as before. Every fear has a rational response.

So what is it that we fear? We fear the pain. The irrational feeling that does not respond to reason. It hurts when someone breaks our trust. Of course it does. And yet, to let this stop us from pursuing what we want is irrational and self-destructive.

So what is the rational response to fear of pain? Of the emotions, the hurt feelings that come with cheating, no matter how we reason with them? There is a simple answer, one most men are never taught.

You can’t reason emotions away, but you can accept them for what they are: inevitable, but temporary. Just as you cannot stop them from coming to you, they cannot last forever. Let the pain wash over you. Allow yourself to experience your irrational side. Take comfort in your friends and family, but do not seek to avoid the pain. Embrace it. Understand it.

When you realize that you can accept this pain, live through it, and come out on the other side ready to continue pursuing your goals, you will cease to fear pain. You will master it.
