First, she took drugs and banged random men, until a Texas judge gave her sole custody of the first child. Then she took drugs and banged other men until a Texas judge again gave her custody of a second child. Then she took drugs and banged other men until she killed them. A legal presumption of shared parenting, of the type enacting last year in Kentucky, would have likely prevented these deaths, and most other deaths from abuse and neglect.

This reminds me of my own experience i was 9 my mom left me in the car while her dumbass went shopping. Course leaving a kid in a hot car was not the big deal it is today hell some pepole saw me turning red and sweating course no one gave a shit. If not for me getting the idea to pour the ice water i had gotten earlier from a wendys on myself ide be dead.
