It’s a long one. However, I feel that I need to be as detailed as possible for you all to understand it. A female relative of mine is turning 30 years old this year. She’s been with guys for nearly 15 years and isn’t even close to landing a husband. This is her story.

At the age of 15, my female relative (I’ll call her “Lacey”) got her first bf (I’ll call him, “Ben”). She was about a 7/10 in looks and a social butterfly. He was about a 4/10 in looks. However, he had a car and a part-time job. She made them go on a date twice a week and wanted him to pay for it. He worked extra hours just to afford her.

After dating Ben for about two years, there was a party that they both attended and Ben got drunk. Lacey needed a ride home from the party.  Benny (Ben’s best friend (and yes they have very similar names lol)) decided to give her a ride home. In the car (new BMW) they started talking and that’s how it started. So, at the age of 17, she dumped Ben and started dating Ben’s best friend, Benny.

In just about a week after breaking up with Ben, Lacey started openly dating Ben’s best friend Benny. When Ben found out, Ben and Benny had a huge fight and Ben and Benny stopped being friends.

So, after the, “upgrade”, she was getting a better deal. She was riding around in Benny’s new BMW. In the looks department, Lacey is now 17 y/o and still about a 7/10 and Benny is about a 5/10. He was a few months younger than her but he was from an upper middle class family, so he had money. The dates now, were no longer to Applebees and Red Robin, nah, homegirl was now going to Casa do Brasil and Japanese Steakhouses. Of course, Benny was paying for all of this because he needed to keep Lacey fed and happy. At this time, Lacey got a part time job at Best Buy.

After Lacey and Benny graduated high school, it was time to decide where to go to college. Benny was an, “A”, student and got accepted into an excellent college for Pre-Pharmacy about an 8 hour drive away. Lacey...well, she was a “C” student and got accepted into a local community college and she did not know what she wanted to major in. Benny’s family wanted him to go to the excellent college but Lacey wanted him to stay with her in the same city. Benny decided to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at a local college to not be away from Lacey.

Fast forward five years. Lacey is now about 23 years old. She’s now a 5.5/10, she gained a solid 30lbs from all the eating. She’s still in college, but she finally decided what she wanted to major in (Marketing) and she still has her part-time job at Best Buy. Benny graduated with his degree in Biology, graduated Pharmacy Tech school, and is working as a Pharmacy Tech while on the waiting list for a Pharmacy Doctorate program (all the programs were far away from the city).

Lacey looks happy with Benny because she’s now riding in Benny’s new car, an Infiniti G35 (her favorite car at the time, so he probably had his parents help him get one just to please her), she’s being fed, and he’s fairly successful. However, she starts talking to one of her supervisors at her Best Buy job. He’s much older than her, he’s about 35 years old, he’s about her height of 5’6”, he looks like he’s balding, and he’s of a different ethnic group. However, he’s salaried, making about $70,000 a year. Much higher than Benny because he working part-time trying to get into a PharmD program. That wasn’t good enough for Lacey. So, she broke up with Benny claiming, “we grew apart”. After sacrificing his Pre-Pharmacy opportunity and spending nearly all his disposable income, Lacey disposed him.

Within a month, she started dating her supervisor. Let’s call him, “Pablo”. She took a month to get over a five year relationship. Now Pablo was over ten years older than Lacey and was making over quadruple of the amount of money she was making. Now Lacey was around a 5.5/10 physically and Pablo was probably a 3/10 physically. From the relationship with Pablo, she no longer was just getting the benefit of going on dates. Pablo was paying her car payment and giving her cash, on top of the dates he takes her out on and he pays for. 

About two years into the relationship, she finally graduates with her degree in Marketing. She decides she no longer wants to drive the car she owns (a 2010 Honda Civic) so she trades in her car and Pablo helps with a down payment (a lot of money because she has horrible credit) and she gets a brand new Nissan Altima. She resigns from her job at Best Buy and looks for a Marketing job. 

Six months later, she’s 26 years old, she’s now a 4/10 (gained more weight and older looking), and living at home with her family. She’s still unemployed since she resigned from Best Buy. Pablo is paying for everything and still has to take her on the dates she wants to go on.

About a month later, she swallows her pride and gets an unpaid internship at a car dealership. She does well at her unpaid internship (3 months) and gets offered a job. She gets a salary of $42,000 a year.

About 6 months into the salaried position, Lacey decides she wants her dream car. She tells Pablo that she wants to buy a brand new BMW M4 custom made to her liking. She of course tells Pablo to front up the cost. Keep in mind this is about a $70,000 car and she makes $42,000 a year. Pablo convinces her to just lease it instead of just buying a $70,000 car. She agrees. So, Pablo leases the car and she gets the M4 to her liking. This car is actually even better than Pablo’s BMW M3. 

Lacey now has two car payments, the Nissan Altima and the BMW M4. The expenses for the cars are now higher than what she is making at her job. She has a long commute to work, and the M4 is a V8 that requires Premium gas based on the lease. 

Lacey promised Pablo that she’ll make the car payments for the BMW if he would pay the down payment for the lease. However, because of the expenses she wasn’t able to make the payments. So, Pablo, fearing that he’ll destroy his credit (the BMW is under his name because she has horrible credit) starts paying for the expenses for the BMW while she pays for the Nissan. 

While this is all happening, her family starts resenting her for what she’s doing. She’s still living at home mooching of her family and pays for nothing in the house when she’s 27 years old. She recognizes how they feel and she makes her plan to move out. She purposefully gets into a fight with her father and drives to Pablo’s house. She knocks on the door and tells Pablo that her family kicked her out and she wants to move in with him. Since Pablo is taking care of his elderly parents (he’s an only child), and his elderly parents do not like Lacey, he told her there wasn’t any space in the house to take her in. Absolutely humiliated, she drives back home.

After this incident occurred, Lacey decides that she has to move out with Pablo far away so he won’t have to live with his parents. She decides that she wants to move to her dream location, Los Angeles. So, she starts the process of convincing Pablo how great and wonderful Los Angeles was (she visited there once). For months she told him it was her dream to move there. 

She finally convinces Pablo to move to LA. He applies for a job and gets it. She’s now 28 years old and a 3/10. She gained weight due to the sedentary job she has and she’s even more older looking. She tells everyone in her family she’s leaving and only her mother showed up to say goodbye. Pablo and Lacey move to LA.

In LA, they both find out it isn’t a dream. The living expenses are unbearable. They still have the two car payments from Lacey, Pablo’s car payment, he’s helping his elderly parents, and for a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment, they are paying over $3000 a month in rent. On top of that, the groceries, the restaurants, and the gas is more expense. Pablo is quickly blowing through his savings because they have all these expenses and Lacey cannot find a job. The $80,000 a year salary Pablo has, is not enough to take care of themselves.

After seven months of living as a stay-at-home girlfriend. Lacey swallows her pride and takes a job as a barista at Starbucks. In the meantime, Pablo is still blowing through his savings. Lacey calls her mother and starts weeping how it was a total mistake for her to leave her home and to move to LA. She wails how she’s been with Pablo for over five years and he still hasn’t proposed. She says she hates her job and that Pablo is acting crazy because of the stress on him. Her mother tells her not to worry and that it’ll get better.

A few months later, Lacey is now over 29 years old (a 3/10 in looks) still working at Starbucks in LA. She calls her mother and this is where the absolutely abhorrent hypergamous nature comes to play. Lacey tells her mother that she’s going to convince Pablo to move to Chicago. Chicago is a city where many members of my ethno-religious group live. She tells her mother that in Chicago she’ll go out with her female cousins and meet different guys when Pablo is working and when she finds a decent guy, she’ll dump Pablo and be with the new guy. She says she’ll justify dumping him by saying that he just became crazy. She also said she’s now going to the gym and losing weight to be more attractive. In her near 15 years of dating, she wanted nothing to do with the men of our ethno-religious group but then she tells her mother to get her an arranged marriage with one if she doesn’t find a good one to replace Pablo with. She says she no longer cares about looks and only wants a man with a good job. What’s disappointing is that, her plan may just work.

Tl;dr My female cousin jumps from man to man. One richer than the previous. Making wrong decision after wrong decision. She’s the average female in today’s society. Stay MGTOW my brothers!
