I completely understand why this causes your visceral reaction, I really do. To get over it, your only real choices are to get on board with TRP, or just go into denial. It sounds like you have some level of normal and healthy manful pride, so I don't see why you (or anyone) would willfully chose to become a beta provider for a woman who doesn't do those things anymore.

However, there's a way around this: be that bad boy. Don't be that boring slob who isn't good enough for those 12 years, until he is (he's not really, but never mind).

By the way, one of the reasons for the Sandberg strategy is that there aren't enough alphas to go around (and most are smart enough to not get married). So the women settle. And then after the man is trapped, he finds the old sex tape, or her friends tell him all about what she did in college. You want that?

If you think about it from a women's self-interest point of view it makes perfect sense. Bad boys, cool guys, etc.. make women feel. They make women desire. They hit those attraction buttons and dials. And before her "oh shit I need to settle down and have kids" mind kicks in that's running her show. When the latter happens it's in her best interest to find a stable provider, so that's what she does.

When you think about it, this is so fucking irconic that this shit is coming from feminists. Why? Because men are clearly objectify as a sexual provider or fantasy provider when it is time o have fun. And, then they are objectify as a good provider "when it comes time to settle down".

So, there is something missing here right? What about love? I am not a care bears. Yet, I think a meeting between a man and women is a meeting between two bodies and two minds, potentially attracted by each other. I'm just gonna post this respond. You are misinterpreting the quote because of your own lack of experience and self-esteem issues.

The truth is girls are humans too. Most are totally clueless about what will make them happy and they are following Hollywood stereotypes about how they should act e.g. sleep around with the cool frat jocks. Then if they go down that route, they realize casual sex is meaningless and it sucks being with men that don't treat them like humans. In other words immature girls i.e. ones without experience think a jackass is cool while mature women realize that hurts their feelings. And in fact this process of gaining maturity causes a lot of relationship problems. So this is what that quote is referencing.

All the carousel nonsense you've read on here is wrapping your mind and causing you to misinterpret this quite good quote.
