I matched with a girl on tinder a couple weeks ago. She seemed into me and I asked if she want to meet up for a date. She said she'd be out of town for a few weeks but would when she got back. We exchanged phone numbers, but I never really talked to her much. I deleted Tinder a few days later. Sure enough see messaged me today (a few weeks later) and asked if I'd be interested in getting dinner. I said sure, I suggested Burger King and she said "you're joking right"? I said I was joking and told her my friend owns a new restaraunt (it's pretty high class), she got excited and we made plans.

I was in my car when it hit me, FUCK NO. I messaged her and told her I had to cancel. She asked why and I told her the truth. That I didn't think that going out to dinner the first time meeting was a good idea and that I didn't want to invest that kind of money (at least $150) in someone I don't know if I'd ever see again. She got mad and said she'd of course would have paid to for herself. I told her that wasn't really the point and that I just didn't want to be put in the position of either paying for everything or having to ask to split the bill, both seemed like losing scenarios to me. She got all bent out of shape and started talking about how she's an independent woman and makes her own money, blah blah blah. Never once though did she suggest we do something other than get expensive dinner. The last thing she said to me was "Grow Up", in response i sent her a picture of the PB+Fluff and Chocolate Milk I ordered at a coffee house my friend was hosting an open mic at.

I really think I'm done with dating all together, I can't even bring myself to go on dates any more.
