The best thing about being alone is having absolute total control of how you spend your money. I’ve been doing a lot of research on assets and how to Retire early.

There’s no way I could’ve done this when I had a girlfriend. I would spend easily around 400 to $500 a month on activities just to keep the relationship feeling alive. Starbucks, shopping at the mall, restaurants, That shit adds up and it’s all just bullshit.

I love the feeling on payday and knowing your check is all yours.

There really is something awesome about doing what you want and not having to "clear" your schedule and expenses with anybody else.

You want to be a lazy piece of shit and play games all weekend? Go for it; it's one of my favorite things to do.

You want to go hunting, camping, and fishing for several days at a time? No problem.

You found this expensive thing online that has absolutely no purpose other than the fact that you think it's awesome and you want it? Buy three of them; it's your money.

The castle is as clean and orderly as you want it to be - and most would women these days wouldn't know the first thing about that anyway, if you've seen their apartments. If you know how to cook, you'll eat incredibly well at a fraction of the price it'd take eat out, much less feed two (because she probably doesn't know how to cook anyway), and if you're not feeling like putting in the knife time, you can order whatever you want. Buy that $50 burger with all the fixings and have it delivered to your door. On a Monday. Along with a six pack of your favorite beer.

The best part, though, is the peace and quiet.

No nagging, no bitching, no fights they start because for some reason, even after getting everything they want, they're still unfulfilled and decide to make it your fault. You walk through the door after a shitty day at work, kick off your shoes, and you can flop down onto the couch and lose yourself in a good book for three hours.
