This woman and others are being exploited by the fashion industry to create a glamorous image that is directly marketable to obese females. This results in 'depressed' women that may have 'given up' on 'looking good' having increased impetus to purchase cosmetics, jewelry, designer clothing, accessories, etc. etc. etc. This is all very good for business because obese people already tend to have issues with impulse control, leading to... BIG SALES! It's all about money. Shame fat women: they feel bad and eat a lot (which they do anyway), pay gym memberships out of guilt, meh profitability. I know a woman who looks like the OP photo above (not quite as obese, but clearly well into the 'holy crap you broke the BMI chart' territory). I overheard her recently say that her blood pressure and certain other health indicators are normal (the implication being, 'what, I don't need to lose weight, do I?'). I didn't say anything in response, I don't need the drama. But c'mon, I don't care how many health indicators are in the green, wearing all that fat on your organs ain't doing you any good. (And she didn't mention how many pills she pops to keep in the green.)

TL;DR, I don't fat shame these women - because (A) I have too much drama in my life as it is, but also because (B) I only recently got my own dumb self out of obese, and out of overweight, and into 'normal' weight (I'd like to go further, but at least I've made it this far) - . . . but damn, fat glorification is sick, twisted, and utterly f*$ked up. As other people have commented on this post, follow the money, fat glorification probably comes from some underhanded assholes looking to sell products. That's all kinds of wrong.

I read a research about women being told that there will be more women in college they go to had more dissatisfaction about their bodies and wanted to eat better compared to those told there will be less women.

It's possible they have the illusion of too many options so they don't even bother to try to be feminine and attractive.Why would they have to put the effort if the game is rigged in their favor?

Women just have to take care of themselves enough,eat healthy and work out a bit to be in the top 10% women.If she is feminine,cooks,cleans,takes care of the children and willing to have sex she can have any man she wants including the 6 feet,6 figures 6 pack anomalies.How hard can it be to not fuck this up?
