I don't know why JFK is considered to be a good president/statesman. Think about this...at the beginning of his tenure, Cuba was embroiled in a life or death struggle against Communism (note the distance from Miami, Florida, a US state, to Cuba is 330 miles or 531km). The Eisenhower administration had armed, funded, trained and was prepared to offer naval air support/naval bombardment to the Free Cubans in order to re-take their homeland. Kennedy decided to let those Free Cubans "die on the beach". Then Kennedy decided to embroil the US in a war literally thousands of miles away in Vietnam--a conflict that was cataclysmic to American society and allowed the Left to become mainstream. JFK should have just stuck to fucking actresses.
