Bad part is Lil Peep died from unknowingly taking a Xanax laced with fentanyl (an abomination and a stain on modern medicine). It takes a sick fuck to make fake drugs that do the opposite of the intended drug.
In the defense of Demi Lavato, she is probably suffering from traumatic memories of the Hollywood pedofiles and using drugs and alcohol to numb the memories and the effect they have on her.

Fentanyl needs to be deemed a chemical weapon. It is way too strong. I don't condone the use of heroin or other opioids, but I do believe people should know what they are buying. If you think you have heroin you should have heroin. The bad thing is people are selling the shit without even knowing it. Fentanyl is so cheap people are using heroin to cut it. There's tons of scientific reasons why fentanyl is evil.

I am a nurse, I work on a radio-oncology ward and fentanyl definitely has its place here. Once you've heard a human being screaming in pain all night, with only fentanyl still being able to somewhat ease their pain, maybe you would think that too.
I agree that it has its dangers and that there is only a niche where you can and should use it, but within that niche; it really has its right to exist.
If you want to ban things that kill people, start with sugar.

It's funny how you want to keep it, when the whole reason it had to be made was because too many people were developing tolerances to normal opioids due to over prescribing and frequent use. I understand you're a nurse and have nothing to do with the prescription, and sure it does have some use. Pharmaceutical use isn't even the problem with it. The fentanyl that is killing people is being made in China and being sent directly to the US or to South America where it's funnelled into the country.
But yeah let's ban sugar. A substance that exists naturally and humans and animals alike have consumed since the dawn of time. Sugar doesn't kill people, it's over indulgence in sugar that causes health problems, that leads to death if left untreated. I bet you even put sugar in the coffee you have to drink to work your long hours. The human body even needs sugar to survive. You'd think a nurse would know that though.

Which is mostly true for the U.S., where doctors admittedly hand out pharmaceutics that are quite restricted in access and use here in Germany like candy. I mean, there is a reason the U.S. are called "Prozac nation".
And I have no problem with sugar per se. But cheap raffinated beet sugar is killing more people each and every year than you would probably think.
I see more and more people around 18 and even younger with type II diabetes. This is called late-onset diabetes for a reason, because usually only old people get it when the insuline producing cells in their pancreas are burned out after a long life.
Sure, this has also to do with kids and young people not doing sports anymore and spending too much time with sitting in front of their consoles, but consuming too many empty calories and tons of sugary drinks plays a huge role in it.
And the food industry is putting sugar in everything, even in things were you would not expect it. Why is there so much sugar in many yoghurts, for instance. And just this week I wanted to buy a smoothie... until I saw the incredients list, that is. Why the fuck to we need to pour tons of sugar in a bloody smoothie? And most people are not even aware of this, because they never look at the incredience list and just think "It's a smoothie, so we are talking about something that is healthy and good for me and is only made from fresh fruits..."
And yes, I would absolutely ban this practice.
And no, I A) never put sugar in my coffee and B) had no fucking time to drink a coffee during my shift today. Just for the record.

99.9% of people don't go out looking for fentanyl, they are looking for heroin. Fentanyl is 50 times stronger than heroin and has a higher affinity so even if the heroin is 50/50 fentanyl/heroin the fentanyl binds to the receptors first. So when they go to do heroin they end up having the stronger effects of fentanyl. Fentanyl is also absorbed faster than heroin, meaning the effects hit harder and faster. If you're going to be a dick, at least have some intelligence with it. It's fucked up people aren't getting what they are sold. Let's put it into non "drug" terms. You go buy a beer from the bar but you get a beer mug full of moonshine that looks like and tastes like beer. Next thing you know, you have alcohol poisoning and choke on your vomit except you're too fucked up to realize you're dying.

I find it funny that people use a pharmaceutic that should definitely not be used as a recreational drug and outside of hospitals and when something bad happens, they blame the drug.
No one would argue that insuline or beta-blockers are useful drugs, but when you combine them in high doses, they will reliably kill you. And if this combination would also give a high, we would have lots and lots of people demanding that insuline and beta-blockers should be banned, because they've killed someone they knew. And who probably had no real medical reason to use them.

Been dealing with depression for over 20 years. Go to see the doctor, the nurse takes my vitals then she eventually gets to the depression questionnaire they give everyone that's on a depression pill.
She gets to this question: "Do you feel like you'd be better off dead."
I say "Yes."
She then gives me this look of disgust and snarls "Really? Are you serious?"
Again, I say "Yes."
"Well, we need to get you on more medication."
I about said "You fucking bitch, you're not the doctor and do your damn job and let me talk to the doctor. I'm done talking to you."

When my lymph nodes were swelling and pinching my esophagus the only response I received from the female MD was, “What drugs did you take?”
After answering the question with, “I don’t use drugs” for the 7th time she let me know that her job was to only take care of people that were dying.
I walked out and still got charged $300 with no idea why I felt like I was choking.

I have a buddy who is a good doctor. He says he sees men so rarely in his practice that when one comes in he assumes there is something seriously wrong that the guy is probably hiding because he's ashamed to be ill. He used to be a prison doctor and still does a few days a month in prison surgery so his male patients pretty soon get the idea that he's used to dealing with men.

There's no real way of testing your chemical levels, so the idea that you are low on serotonin has no way of being proven. Instead they give you the meds and say take this till you feel better but you'll never feel better until you work through all your stuff. The meds just make everything tolerable and aren't a cure. They make it to where you can work on what's going on but no doctor will tell you that and therapy isnt covered by most insurance so they just leave you to your own devices. That shit made me numb to the world not any better.

aint that the truth. Atleast my doctor was cool. She was a woman but she knew her stuff and listened. She told me this stuff might not work it might make you have a psychotic episode and when they werent really working for me I asked to stop taking them and I was weaned off them. After I got a group of friends and started working out and taking more time to think about the things going wrong in my life I generally felt better with everything. This isnt the same for everyone but for me it seemed like it was a teen/college phase for me.

Well yeah... that's for the hipster simps who feel like if it's free it's worthless, they need to pay for it. You can buy everything.
All kinds of static energy build up within you, and if you're always wearing shoes you're never grounding yourself. It's about walking outside, bare feet against the Earth. This lets that excess energy drain from you as you are grounded against the Earth. It's simple, but it really works. I feel better, less pain, less stress, more calm, etc.
I focus on all the pent up Energy within me leaving and flowing out. I try to follow it as it flows into the Earth and into the plants and other life around me. Letting go of all the stress and complications of modern life. Once I am at neutral potential versus the Earth, I work on accelerating myself mentally. Specifically, I imagine an infinite series of 2n as individual cells/blocks splitting as quick as I can. So maybe I'll imagine green blocks with a blue circle in them, I start with 2, then to 4, then to 8, then to 16, etc. I try to get them to split within my mind as fast and get it as large as possible before I become overwhelmed and cannot hold the image in my head of so many pieces without it collapsing. It takes practice, but I can go from 32 to 10,000 in a seconds time, from that to 1,000,000, imagining and acknowledging each individual piece as the entire mass of them grows. I call this accelerating myself, it's not specifically part of Earthing but it is part of my practice. After I release the excess unnatural static that had built up inside of me, I then build up my personal energy base and make it meaningful. Give it power through growth and meaning in creating life (the 2n series is a biological one).
I guess the important things are to recognize that you take on a ton of external energy during the day, especially in our modern world where energy is beamed around all the time, carpet attracts static, etc. In olden times we walked around barefoot, our bodies are designed to expel this excess energy this way (grounding using the Earth). To not do so leads to increased stress, aging, fatigue, everything. So release that excess Energy by making barefoot contact with dirt on a regular basis, at least daily for several minutes. The first time you'll be able to notice the difference, it's very rewarding. What you do after that is up to you.

I smoke weed every day. It's not like it doesn't have negative effects. My short-term memory definitely seems inhibited, for example. Could be confirmation bias, as it's a commonly cited side effect, but if i think about it honestly, I do feel my memory is shittier.
Having said that, I'm not going to accidentally smoke a bit too much weed and die. If I stop smoking, I'm not going to be so incredibly sick I want to die. Everything about opiates just looks like a recipe for disaster, and I like my life too much as it is.

Yeah lol there was a news story in my town the other day where this 4-year-old found his parents weed chocolate bar (retarded parents but yeah), and ended up eating the entire thing. This was 15 "doses". So a four-year old took 15 times what an adult should take, and he was completely fine. They took him to the hospital, monitored him just to be sure, and released him the next day. The harm factors of Cannabis are so low relative to other drugs it's ridiculous. The only somewhat serious effects come from smoking like I do, multiple joints every night for months on end. And even then, they are usually minor. Acute side effects include dry mouth, and eating too many doritos, perhaps.

I have bad depression. I used to take medicine for it, but there was a time I decided to switch prescriptions for something better and the Doctor had me on 4 different antidepressants in the span of one month. Needless to say, my brain went to mush and I had to commit myself to a psyche ward to detox off of all the medicine I was given. I stopped functioning and couldn't work anymore. I had very strange thoughts and panic attacks out of nowhere. After I left the hospital I still spent 6 more months laying in bed trying to get my mind back to normal. Unfortunately it would have been too complicated to sue for malpractice because of the fact it was mental issues and that's a "complicated situation" for lawyers.
I have never and will never take another pill to make me happy. I can handle this on my own. All it really takes is some deep insight into thyself to understand where the mental anguish is coming from. It's there for a reason - this "unbalanced chemicals in the brain" BS doesn't convince me anymore. I used to be/still am deeply depressed, but I found out what caused it and eliminated it from my life (in my case it was a toxic family and home).

society is aimed to help women. women are NOT oppressed. That's bullshit! People don't give two fucking flying SHITS about what men are going through. I'm sorry, but people can say what they want about it? But underneath it all, if men are having a bad day or a bad little rut in life for a few months even or having a bad year, nobody wants to hear it because "we are men" and "we aren't supposed to be not tough" and stupid shit like that.
So the reason why suicide, drug taking and all that is up like hell among men is because nobody takes the time out of their day to listen to us. It wouldn't do any good anyway. Because as SOON as you start venting or talking you are seen as a "wuss" or a weakling. even if people KNOW you are a strong person, society still acts in a way where if you show things are bothering you as a man, you really ARENT a man.
It's a big big problem society has. I'm overall really happy with my life and the way things are going. I'm healthy, I go to the gym, best shape of my life, my mental health is good, everyone around me is healthy, my small business is slowly growing and I'm networking, my guild is doing great in swtor and I'm overall "centered". But right now for some reason, I'm going through kind of a rough patch and have been for over a few months, up and down up and down, when usually I'm overall content with my life. I don't know what it is, lately stuff has been bugging me and I'm thinking of a lot of stuff. is it worth talking to anybody about? no. Because nobody will listen. They truly do not. All people want to do is talk about their lives and that's it. I especially wouldn't talk to a women about the little up and down, existential thinking rut im having right now because that wouldn't be "manly".
I do little sociological experiments sometimes to see this stuff. I was talking the other night with this girl online. we met each other in league of legends like..5 years ago or something. Don't worry, not interested in her at all, just a friend. But she sometimes talks about her job, rants about something happening and stuff and I let her because I'm there for people when they need somebody. so i start talking about the thing that happened to me the past week and get 5 minutes in and there is no response. then i go "hello? ...hello? are you still there?" she goes "oh yah sorry...im just doing something" so I shutup and go "ya know...I'm not going to bother anymore talking about my life if you don't listen" and it's confirmed! My experiments are a success. People genuinely, as a whole, don't give a shit about you, especially as a man. as a man, you are SUPPOSED to never talk about this stuff (what society says) because they will view you as weak. But women can cry, bitch, moan, rant and rave all they want and we are supposed to feel sorry for them because "they feel bad". what if we feel bad as men? oh wait...we can't do that....right?
So as always? I will adapt my mind and think of ways of dealing with this myself. Like I always have. nobody truly listens anymore. We have become a society of mindless drones that don't know what to do when not looking at their phones. I see it every single day of my life....and it's disgusting. It's revolting to me that instead of people listening or waiting for conversation, they are ALWAYS on their phones and then when you say something that's on your mind they go "huh? what? im sorry i didnt catch that" ...and there we go. that's my point.

The only good thing about Lil Peep or XXXTentacion is that they kept true to their sadboy faccade and actually killed themselves.
