Star Wars: The Last Jedi was f***ing awful

For three movies now, following The Force Awakens and Rogue One, these characters feel like children dropped into a Disney Star Wars theme park.

As bad as the George Lucas prequels were, at least they felt like they took place in the Star Wars universe. These new movies feel like a parody of Star Wars — a combination of Nickelodeon special and bad Saturday Night Live sketch.

I haven't seen this put into such plain English before. Completely spot on. Even if you took out the propaganda from Disney's "SJ Wars" it would still feel wrong, because the characters just don't belong in the same universe that Lucas created.

Pretty much sums up what is wrong with the new trilogy. I honestly feel bad for Mark and Carrie in having their characters ruined by the Marxists.

It was bad on so many levels. Other than the oversaturation of female empowerment among other p.c. rhetoric the story was poorly written. While the original trilogy was appealing to kids it wasn't what I'd call a kid's movie series. This movie goes out of it's way to feel like a kid's only movie. The movie was aweful and only slightly more tolerable than the force awakens.

At least episodes 1 to 3 had some iconic light saber battles. Everyone can remember Yoda jumping around like a hamster on meth kicking butt.

These new ones leave me with nothing memorable.

Disney is going to shove a new sj wars movie down our throats every year for a long time. This is only the beginning. In decade there will be more star wars movies than James Bond flicks, with each one being worse than the last, book it.

The new star wars films are fucking awful. They are legitimately and objectively bad: This has nothing to do with 'taste' or any of that BS. There was a guy named david stewart who ripped the force awakens to shreds. He correctly stated that the movie was a complete bastardization.

It seems like The Force Awakens opened up possible storylines about Rey, Snoke, Knights of Ren jsut to name 3, that the following movie(s) could expand upon. I heard this film shit all over those possible storylines as almost a middle finger to those speculating.

I don't understand this. If folks are talking and speculating about The Force Awakens, you have them right where you want them. Cultivate that curiosity, give the fans what they want. Instead, this film jsut says, Rey is a random chick, we never liked Snoke so he's out, and fuck off to Luke and the old cast.

I support equality in society... and I actually like Disney...

But if Disney starts killing off Marvel heroes and replace them with female counter parts... I'm out..

Star Wars has been changed to be the heroine vehicle type of franchise. Basically, women = Good, Men = villain unless they're supporting characters and representing something.
