What? I carry mace with me anytime I go out, never leave my drink anywhere out of sight, and actively avoid plenty of places, I research the part of town and clientele of a venue when picking a place for a night out, and I always travel with a group. That's not about what sex I am. That's common sense when going anywhere with the intent of consuming products make me more vulnerable than usual.
How fucking stupid do you have to be to ignore those basic rules of being intoxicated?
[–]Blogginginvicecity14 points15 points16 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
But I must insist, sir, that I wear my lingerie across town, at all times of night. How else will my ego compete with those ladies from the god be danmed patriarchal periodical "Cosmopolitan"
[–]throwaway15203824 points25 points26 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Uhm, yeah we have common sense. We avoid bad boys otherwise they try to attack us for ego boost.

Ask this girl what she does to avoid the 99.9% chance you'll die in war if you're male compared to female; the 78% you'll kill yourself compared to female; the 97% chance in a divorce you'll be paying alimony to your spouse; you'll lose custody of your children in 84% of disputes; you're 4x more likely to kill yourself via suicide; you are 4x more likely to be killed via homicide. Hey shitstorm; welcome to a mans life.

You seriously expect a woman to remember all that, let alone employ it as a rule?

Just go to any prison and you'll have all the answers you need

They won't, because it will demolish their imbecilic claims.
[–]tamass187 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They contradict themselves with this statement. They both present the fact that 1.Men do get raped and no one gives a shit about it and 2.Women are provided all sorts of tips and ways to prevent themselves from getting raped.....and yet it still happens to them. "Next time a man tells you about him burning his hand on the stove, tell him about all the times you've been burned on a curling iron!"

a .45 and hypervigilance.
[–]Blogginginvicecity4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"But how can I be hypervigilant and concealing when i am piss drunk and in my crop top and miniskirt? There is, alas, nothing us women can do. If it wasn't for the patriarchy, I wouldn't have such internalized misogyny and wouldn't NEED to drink and be so scantily dressed. Men don't know what it's like to hate themselves!"
[–]Section-202 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A fine caliber for sure!

I box, and if i see a dark alleyway i keep away from it. If I'm alone late at night I stick to main roads and fully lit areas. I call a taxi if i suspect i'm walking into a dangerous situation.
I do this not to avoid rape, but to avoid attacks in general, which can include rape.
It's called using "common sense". Something which women don't feel they should be expected to employ, maybe because they feel "common sense" restricts them from being a whore, or that "common sense" was invented by the patriarchy to keep women down by making them think about the consequences of their actions.

This deserves a point-by-point.
Whenever a guy tries to divert the conversation about rape by saying men get raped too - Whenever a bitch tries to accuse you of diverting the conversation, call her what she is. I'm not your fuckbuddy, don't "guy" me.
ask him what he does before he leaves his house to avoid getting raped - First of all, don't carry any means of self-defense. If you get attacked on the street and use means of self-defense, you can be reframed as perpetrator and put in prison. If you don't use means of self-defense, the attackers might just take your wallet and cellphone.
ask him what tactics he uses to keep his drink from being spiked - I don't drink. Among other reasons, because my drink can be spiked.
ask him how many of his male friends cried on his shoulder after being raped - How many your female friends have you personally taken out of a noose?
ask him which men's magazine has offered tips to escape a rapist - MGTOW.COM
ask him what areas/times he has identified as high-risk - If he's in an abusive relationship with a woman? - His own house.

There's an underlying idea here. Now that male rape has been acknowledged, they must somehow twist the narrative to say that it's not as important for their movement to stay relevant. IMO.
[–]insomniacsheep1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
We leave the house wondering how to best avoid women so we don't get imprisoned on a false assault allegation. The prison where men are raped every day.
[–]Aussiewolf821 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes but we have to be concerned about not getting the shit knocked out of us by a stranger or a group of strangers you myopic twat.
[–]ellixe1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is ridiculous.
Ask him what tactics he use to keep his drink from being spiked
Don't take drinks from strangers. You women are so obsessed with free drinks cause you think you're hot
Ask him which men's magazine has offered tips to escape a rapist
Bitch, we'd like to know too cause all we hear is be quiet and man up. You can't come up with one? EXACTLY.
Ask him how many of his male friends have cried on his shoulder after being raped
More like, how many of my male friends wanted to cry on my shoulder cause they kept quiet from being raped?
[–]Jackbakerdulvey0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sounds like symptoms of mass rape hysteria fueled by feminism and the left's overinflation of rape statistics aka rape culture. Stranger danger. Lol.
Yeah, women's magazines. Sure. Cosmo is such a good source.

Do a .45 and a big folder qualify?
[–]Section-200 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why yes, yes they do.

We do plan and are situationally aware in order to protect against being mugged or shot during a carjacking

1 - I have talked to guys that have been divorce-raped. Does that count?
2 - More to the point, I (and presumably most guys) still worry about physical safety, too, ya know. To that end, if I'm on vacation or something, I try to not be visibly intoxicated, so I don't look like an easy victim. And if I do find myself fucking trashed, I stay in the light, with the crowds. Ya know, because no one should be a victim, but watching out for myself is easier than calling and canceling all my credit cards, and figuring out how I'll get on my return plane flight without my ID to get me past airport security. But that's just me.

Fair enough, male rape is a prison phenomenon, mostly. Never in my life was I worried about getting raped. Beaten up, sure, until I started boxing, at least. Rape isn't a common problem for men.
So problem solved or am i missing something ?
[–]CadeyrnDragheim0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What i do:
1) dress modestly 2) don't go pubbing/clubbing 3) always carry protection like mace or smthg 4) be aware of your surroundings especially at night 5) train
And men have 3-4 times the suicide rate of women. Want to bet more magazines cater to women killing themselves than men? That last thing doesn't mean anything.

Men don't need to make detailed plans about this stuff because men are capable of moment by moment risk assessment and live their whole lives prepared and adaptable for whatever situation the world throws at them. Most men carry at the very least a knife everywhere they go. Most men can make split second decisions about which route to take and potential obstacles and risks associated with any given route. Most men are capable of defusing a situation or defending themselves as needed.
Women apparently aren't capable of that kind of thinking. So... Sucks to be you.

Women are mainly very angry about Rape for 2 reasons and neither of them has anything to do with the trauma of having to being unwillingly having her hole used by a cock. Think about your penis used to fill some nasty chicks hole. Sure it sucks but your penis and your psychology was designed to fuck vagina. It's a bodily function and it won't scar you. Likewise, her vagina and her psychology was designed for her to be fucked and she wont have long standing issues because of the experience. That said:
The methods and tactics suggested to prevent rape are contradictory to whorish displays and require women to employ common sense in addition to acknowledging humility in the face of a danger her pussy-pass does not deter.
Unlike caveman times when Alpha Chad would beat Beta Bob and rape his m8, today's rapists are not Chad. Women have rape fantasies but the rapists today are single mother raised, anti-psychotic doped, mentally ill and sexually frustrated nutjobs who's seed is not like the Caveman Alpha Chad she's been fantasizing about.
That said, I'm not a rape apologist because it's wrong regardless of how you look at it but it's a crime like any other and it can be prevented for the most part if you take the proper precautions.

Wear proper fitting clothes and a belt, stay near my group if I am with one, I don't really drink much alone so I am drinking I am with a group. Zero. My hand stays over my drink, if I leave my drink unattended, guess who gets a new drink? Common sense daily magazine. Is it dark? It's higher risk. Is it after midnight? It's higher risk. Am I in a sketchy part of town. It's higher risk.
I kinda just don't go out at all. I don't need people to see me drink. I know it's happening
