I've had my heart stomped on three times by three different women and I'm now incapable of loving women. I can't connect with them and can't trust them. It's exhausting and straight up traumatizing to spend the majority of time for YEARS with each woman to have everything come crashing down with no real fault of your own. I'm not doing that again, not only is it a huge waste of time, it's expensive and straight up emotionally traumatizing.

I'm 97% sure this is due to the financial crisis of 2008/2009 and the long term damage it did to men in particular. Men dominate fields like Finance and Banking and many of them were fired and never hired again. So they had to start over from square one selling used cars or whatever bullshit job they could find in the new economy.

The only reason men get married ever is because they have to. They don't want to, the legal system makes it scary as hell.

It's so bad that there are laws that make you "married" just for co-habitation, so now you have to make sure you don't live together.

As long as you are punished for being a good provider and decent man this will continue and I for one hope it does.

Women will be begging for the old fashioned existence at some point but it's gone forever.
