1. What area do you live in?
  2. Where did/do you go to school? (if appropriate, better for younger crowd, but I personally won't date someone without higher education).
  3. Where do you work?
  4. **Have you been married?**If yes, ask how many times they've been married. I screened a guy who's profile said he was "divorced" - I knew that. Turns out he's been divorced 3 times. Never would have known this- until the date- without the prescreen.
  5. Are you religious? Do you go to church anywhere?
  6. Do you have kids? Do you want kids?

AND THE MOST REVEALING QUESTION...

The question that will disqualify half of your pre-screens.

"What are you looking for on the app/site?"

LISTEN CLOSELY FOR CERTAINTY AND INTENTION!

"I'm just seeing what's out there."

"I'm going with the flow."

"Whatever happens, happens."

"I'm looking to meet people and see where it goes."

HARD PASS.

A red flag is if he says he's been on the apps for a long time. If they mention "years"- I pass.

What's great about the pre-screening call is it makes LVM absolutely SWEAT and RUN. Even if they pass the call, you will tell a lot by what happens next.

WHY YOU MUST DO THE PRE-SCREEN CALL ....

LVM will either -

  1. NOT DO the prescreen call
  2. FAIL the prescreen call OR
  3. not contact you after the call.... No date

It's disappointing when someone fails the pre-screen. But it saves you from hours spent getting ready for a useless date.

Now, I know you're thinking...

"It feels like an interview... how do I make it not sound like that?"

IT IS, queen. Lighten it with some laughs and small talk. 15 minutes tops.

A quality man is not afraid of these questions.

Hope this helps.
