2X is a default sub. People need to manually unsubscribe from it to not be a member when they make a new account. Most people probably just don't care enough to do that minimal effort, even if they never visit it.

Ugh I fucking hate that subreddit so much, I remember being subscribed to it automatically when I registered and actually reading the posts cause I wanted to be a 'cool redditor' and fit in with the community. Completely oblivious to the fact that it was a feminist board. I thought it was a biology subreddit that shows differences in men and women (It is but a complete bullshit one, fabricated by the spawn of satan themselves). At First I was having some confirmation bias In my head and was trying to be like yeah I feel you guys! (which I couldn't do but didnt realize I was a man and couldnt Rationalize with BS - pre MGTOW days) but then I realized after reading a couple of posts for a while, "What in the fuck is everyone bitching here about for? Holy shit what is the sub even about?" Then I realized when I viewed the sidebar. Feminist hell. Fuck this subreddit so much. Reddit is fucking cancer for making people subscribe to this trash automatically. I bet they automatically subscribe you to it because they're afraid that people will go MGTOW.
