Now, I think this bill is fucking awful. I'd not heard of it before now, but it sounds absolutely appalling...

But that said, it will cause a lot of men to GTOW, and that will hasten the demise the current system. So... part of me is kind of pleased. The more idiocy the feminists demand is basically more fuel on the death-pyre of an increasingly crappy social system.

I'm a little torn.

I honestly don't see this benefiting anybody but the accuser. And if the accuser is truly correct about the defendant being guilty, they would have nothing to worry about and wouldn't need this law in the first place.

This blog post actually seems pretty good. The author predicts that, if passed, the measure “will likely attract a Charter challenge given the unprecedented disclosure obligation and the impact on the accused's ability to use documents that they are lawfully entitled to possess.”

The author also points out that the bill would do nothing to help reduce or prevent sexual assault.

What I don’t get is, even if this bill becomes law, how would exculpatory evidence be any less exculpatory if the prosecution got to see it before going to trial?

What I think will happen if this bill becomes law is that the backlash feminists fear will go into overdrive.
