FB article keeps popping up saying that "Scientists Find There is No Difference Between the Male and Female Brain." Took a while, but I finally found the actual study sited in one of the posts...

Summary: Data set that proves differences in male and female brains is used to tell people that We Are All The Same Inside!

Ok, so all of the clickbaity articles say something along the lines of "No Such Thing As Male or Female Brain!"

First off, the scientist in charge gives TED talks and clearly has an agenda and a way that she wants to frame this. BUT, that doesn't really matter too much, because the data is nicely laid out here:

The study only really looks at grey matter vs white matter. Even with that being the ONLY THING that they look at, there is still so much of a difference that they can classify male traits and female traits within the brain. They use these traits to classify between male and female attributes to set up the data.

You heard that right. The study that proves that there is no difference between male and female brains starts out by assigning them male and female attributes based on frequency. How is that for hamstering?

Now what they DID FIND was that some men have some female "traits" (Type of brain matter at a specific region), and some woman have some male traits. There are some people (looks like about 20 percent looking at the chart) that fall right in the middle. I'm pretty sure I can name some friends and acquaintances that I suspect have their brains made up just like this.

There are some very few men and woman that seem to have their brains flipped, and it would have been fascinating to see if they were homosexual. But regardless, you can look at the charts that they themselves provided and see a pretty huge difference.

And here is the thing. This is only a paper on the type of brain matter. They didn't look into ANYTHING else, as far as I could tell. Hormones alone would account for a lot more differences in behavior. Not to mention the inner workings of the mind, which I do not claim to understand in the least bit. What a ridiculous amount of feel good brainwashing!

TLDR: Feminist scientist finds a lot of differences in one aspect of the brain in males and females. Because there is some variance, news articles take the chance to frame it as We Are All The Same, and a bunch of poor saps read it on their feed and try to treat woman like men, remaining sexless, depressed and lonely.
