You read this story, and you feel for her a little. Perhaps he was a complete loser and she was justified in leaving him? But read between the lines, you get a different picture. He turned his life around, after she left him. That can't be a coincidence. And look at this line: "I tried to help and support him but he would just wallow in self-pity." Same thing with my ex. We are both in the same field, and as soon as I broke things off with her my career (and sex life) improved dramatically.

It wasn't even a bad relationship but not two weeks after we split I was fucking younger women and began booking jobs left and right. Now I'm on the precipice of success.
