I live in the Netherlands, Europe. Last night around 22.00 I was at the local train station waiting for my train to go to a party in the city I study in. I saw a polish migrant junkie going through a trash can but did not pay it much attention. I sat down and minded my own business, when the fucking junkie walked up to me and started yelling at me in polish. I asked him what his problem was in Dutch and English but he just kept yelling in Polish. After a few seconds he punched me in my eye out of nowhere. I stood up and pushed him off as he tried to punch me again. I was so angry I wanted to throw him on the train track but I walked off since nobody came to my help and he was clearly completely insane.

He followed me but I got out of the station and he got stuck since he did not have a ticket to check out with. After I was outside I called the police but nobody could respond in time and I saw him walk away.

He cut my eyebrow and injured my eye, and I have vision problems still now (next morning). On my way to the hospital I saw him walking around and called the cops, they immediately came and arrested him. He started resisting and assaulted 6 cops, he had no ID or nothing on him. I had to spend the whole night at the hospital and police station to press charges against him.

Just a reminder how fucked the politics in western europe are. Fucking refugees and illegal immigrants that have no life and nothing to lose are looking for trouble. Stay safe and don't let them ruin your life. Imagine he attacked me with a weapon or the situation escalated in another way, your life can be ruined over bullshit like this. Stay safe as you are the most important thing.

One of the most frustrating experiences I had was after the fact, just proving to me that I am as a white male, deemed completely and utterly disposable and unimportant. I posted on my social media and got replies saying like "Wow that's crazy, but I'm glad it happened to you and not like a young girl or mother". It just proves how unimportant men are seen in western society. It's a good reminder for me to go my own way, stay safe as danger is anywhere, and remind yourself that NOBODY will come to your aid in a situation like this.

EDIT: a lot of people here are inciting violence, why? i would just have gotten into a shitton more of legal trouble, not talking about potential risks with him bleeding out or whatever, or just having to deal with the fact of killing a man. on top of that weapons are illegal in my country. im glad i did what i did, shove him away, get out of the dangerous situation and let the cops handle that lunatic, i am not risking my health over a freak like that. i have too much future plans i still have to achieve i won't let ruined by a piece of shit drug addict.
