How much has really changed? How much has feminism really contributed to anything? How much has male condition declined, and how much has female condition improved?

I think that things have remained the same.

Now, some people will say: Look at the suicide rate! Look at the education gap! Look at the lost boys!

Well, what does that really mean?

Suicide rate? Sure, men commit more suicides than women, but they do so in Saudi Arabia and Iran as well. And they did so in the bad old/good old fifties.

Education gap? Women make 60% of university students in Saudi Arabia and Iran as well.

Lost boys? There are plenty of lost boys in patriarchal countries around the world. Women were always more grounded in reality than men were. That's why women never invented anything.

And yet, those great great great social changes never happened in Saudi Arabia and Iran. There was no feminism or liberal modernity or enlightenment or societal degeneration or estrogen in water supply or excessive soy intake or whatever brought those great changes in gender relations in the West.

So, I don't think anything has changed really.

1) Men make the top of the society as well as the bottom, just as they always did.

2) Women are in the middle playing it safe and conforming to whatever is cool at the moment whether it is feminism or good manners, just as they always did.

3) Men are still trying to prove themselves before women, some succeed, some don't. White knighting wasn't invented by millennial "soibois".

4) There are probably more successful women than before, but those successful women still want an even more successful husband/daddy.

5) Some women are lecturing, pontificating, censoring and sticking their noses into everyone's lives, just as they always did. And they did it because powerful men allowed them. They used to be called scolds, shrews, harridans... Now we call them feminists, out of politeness.
