He is 32 years old, she is 33. She has an 8 year old daughter. Father still in the picture. Last boyfriend she lived with for 5 years, but said 3 of those years she was "unhappy" but couldn't afford to move out.

Before meeting her, my friend was working out every day with a combination of lifting and running, meal prepping, getting promoted at work, generally a sharp dude.

Now? Dude is out the door at 5pm, texting back and forth with her all day (I work with him), far less productive at work, she has him building things and fixing things around her house, he is paying for all dates and meals, and just recently bought her $300 "Mothers day" gift. She seems to have no problem leeching financially off of dudes.

He kind of just accepts this as "part of the process" and I have to say that years ago I might have reluctantly nodded in agreement, but seeing this stuff through MGTOW lens is just a huge eyesore. So many red flags. How can dudes see this as a path to happiness?
