Works in conjunction with most recent post (but doesn't need to be read if you haven't.) since it gained enough interest.

TL/DR: a paradox regarding your ego (as most know it's in regard to the side of you that takes offense to trivial things that do not matter, cares about money and vanity, and that shines proud when you've completed a difficult task, etc.), a woman's role in this, and the paradox of the blindfolds that once existed.

Introduction:

In my mind, there is this paradox that exists. It is that;

I have an ego, I am aware of it, and cannot destroy it. Because, I in fact need my ego. Without it, life would become pretty much pointless. But, it is that this ego had caused many troubles in life. Things that have definitely set me back, and taken time from me. Things that have been painful. The same ego that many of you have dealt with when getting left for dead, insulted, or brushed off and cheated on by your ex/onesitis. The same ego that knows it should pretend it is not offended in public, yet internally, it is.

It is this same ego that defines your level of IDGAF; the intensity of your ego determines how much you care about others opinions. It is this same ego that would put your life at risk to look or feel good, and turn on friends and family to better itself, yet, become offended when the same is done to it by others.

Disclaimer: if you're still reading, my guess is you're at least somewhat interested in this topic or approach. At this point, I figured I should throw out there that I am not religious whatsoever... not Buddhist, Catholic, or anything in between, just so we can clear up the bias. I do, however, believe humans have an ego, and there is a separation that exists between it, and the higher self. Referencing the higher self here as the "I" in "I hate myself," and referencing the ego as "myself."

Body:

I called the idea of the ego a paradox, well, because it is. That is, until you've learn how to live with it. The idea that living life well aware of it, and it's contradictory nature, then ceases to exist. I phrase it this way for those who may be unaware of this topic to the depth I am going to start speaking.

There is a part of you deep down inside that needs absolutely nothing right now. It yearns for nothing. It is not there to make an impression or to earn points. This side of you doesn't work to impress itself, or better itself. It just "is." That is all it is; is. It exists, yet asks for nothing in return.

Then, there is another side of you. And this side of you looks to get a leg up on any and everyone. Many times a leg up on itself. It competes against itself, working to become a better version of its current self, tomorrow. In all other cases, it is striving to become better than someone else. It does so because it requires reward/pleasure/gratification. It gets these things by a number of means. However, the MAIN driver of its motivation is one of two things; pain or reward. Through one of these means, it shall eventually (hopefully.) get what it desires, which is ultimately reward. Safe to say, it's a greedy little fucker.

And this is good and normal. Normal behavior of our human species. It's exactly why we have been to war so many times during our existence, and exactly why we will continue to be at war until we cease to exist.

However, when a disconnect occurs, your world will turn a different shade. Specifically, I am talking about the anger stage. The learning about women and their tendencies. The learning of the cold, harsh truth of the world, and the reaction your ego has to it. It is that you've come to realize what you may now consider "facts of life." That your SMV is determined at least 50% via genetic makeup, and the rest is you playing catch up. That you can see women, exactly for what they "really" are, and now decided to play along to their tune in ways by adjusting yourself accordingly so that you may remain in control. And that in social situations, you can see what is happening, and that this is the way things are.

And at the center of all this, is your ego. It is pushed against by all of these external factors, by men and women. And the end result is either a deflection, or an absorption. What determines this has much to do with how solid your foundation is. Some call this confidence, but it's depth is greater. It encompasses the entirety of your frame.

Then, on top of this process, there is a similar process occurring internally. Your ego is pressing against your higher self.

Most of this may occur during the anger stage; the competition with the outside world, and due to this external competition, the competition with your internal world. This is not to say it will not occur outside of the anger stage; beyond it. One without self awareness or this lack of separation of ego could experience this type of internal/external pinball game forever. It is those who have and are continually noticing this separation and these events that make living life simple.

And this idea is the very definition of where strength originates from. And the strongest parts of you need to be within your foundation; within you. The ones that can actually become this game, instead of playing along with it. And a simple sentence like this one, can take so much time to actually complete. It is not as if you can say this aloud, or snap your fingers for it to come true.

But, with a few helpful ideas in mind (this being what you default to and what you come to know.), you can soon make it your reality:

Become aware of the internal "goings on," just as you've become aware or are becoming aware of the external world. Understand your ego and its separation from your higher self. Do not make hasty changes or give up when you start to become fully aware of your ego and its actions. Instead, just watch life take place, and watch your ego and it's reactions. But you must remained disciplined enough to withstand the battle within. This is truly what biting your lip stands for. Do not allow your ego to take control of your actions without reason. And to do so, the steps you can take are: notice, and accept. Sounds very simple, and it does become less and less difficult once you've spent many months practicing it. You should not allow yourself to get emotionally invested in the bad. Instead; notice, accept, and take action. This is not to say "hide from your problems or to hide from what is real," whether its internal or external. This is instead, the purest form not hiding, and when you draw out this negativity, and the worthless reactions you'd like to give, you ultimately win the game against yourself, allowing you to win the game against the world. You do so by becoming aware of it all, noticing, accepting, and taking action... and over time you change your mindset, one thought process at a time.

Accept and understand that the world is a random mess of events, and that your ass landed right in the middle of it. You lack control over what was. Your cards are dealt, but this does not mean the game is close to over. What is, is very much under your control. It just may take some time learning how to. Once you do, you spend not a minute more learning, and all your time doing. Amazing poker players have won huge pots, and probably even championship games, with 2/7 off suit. Use your cards to your advantage and shed negativity regarding what "you wish was the case," because it's not, and this is what is.

Working on yourself, and leaving whatever footprint you want to leave behind for the world, will feed your ego in the best way. It is both selfish and rewarding, and it leaves the opinion of others out of the equation. But, be sure you feed your ego for all the right reasons, and that those reasons are not indirectly (or directly.) related to others or the opinion of others.

It is the one who does not know himself, who is not honest with himself about his true desires that is lead astray by himself. This is how you become "unlost." You become aware of your thinking patterns and take action regardless of whether you've been able to make a sound decision at that moment. It is how you learn, and how you grow, and you cannot be afraid to take a leap, there is no better time to start leading now. There is no better person to start leading than yourself. It is how you come to know yourself. Procrastination is what will kill a man. It is the male hamster at work. Become AWARE of the male hamster and all his work. Become aware of the negativity. Stop it at once by taking immediate action. You are in charge of this vessel you call a body. Your higher self holds the keys and determines the next movement. Not your ego, and not procrastination.

And when you've come to realize that this is the case, the blindfold has been removed. The Red Pill may have helped you to remove the blindfold to the external world, but what about the internal world. There is no one who can truly help you to remove this. It is only through time that you see the truth. That you see the big game going on inside.

Your two hands, each holding a small sword, dueling themselves. Your ego vs. your higher self. And some people live a whole lifetime not understanding that there is a separation. That you are playing a losing game against yourself because one hand knows what the other does. That there is a giant game taking place within. They spend their entire life not understanding how to live and enjoy life once the "internal" blindfold has been removed. And that is to say, they spend their entire life, not in control, not the one directing their life to where it needs to go. Now that the chains have been removed regarding the external world, come to free yourself internally.

And once you do, life with women or any one woman becomes so easy. Because your strength isn't fake. There will be nothing weak about you. You are this, you've become the game. It is that you must work from inside, out. It is that once you've done away with fairy tales, false hope, loneliness, and you've become aware of your ego and internal self, that life with women just is. That frame has been built solid. Cultivated in your depths. That you are outcome independent and the furthest thing from needy. And that you are a man with goals and determination, making moves without hesitation. A true leader. And it all starts right with you.
