A buddy of mine Greg works as a social worker. He usually works 10:30pm to 6:30am. Every woman at his work home took a vacation day that stupid "A Day Without A Woman Day" knowing well enough they don't have enough staff. They refused to come in and his boss didn't know what to do and Greg, being a good employee agreed to cover their shifts.

In this field every it's a 24hr watch at homes like his so the residents need constant care. He worked 6:30am until 6:30am the next morning. Including his regular shift. Not one thank you. One girl even said, "it sucks when women aren't around huh?"

Greg then went off on her and said,"you know what sucks, it sucks that you guys left me working 24 hours straight and proved nothing. All you proved to our boss is how needed I was. Great job"

The funny thing to me is all these women took a paid vacation day. So you're staying home from work to protest pay inequality but still willing to take the pay? Kind of defeats the purpose don't ya think?

Just another example of women making men pick up all the slack and wondering why they're not respected in the work place.
