I don't know why people diss on Trump when he says RP wisdom, but praise fictional characters who say the same things.

political virtue-signaling.

Only one of those I've seen him get shit on for is the one about Ariana Huffington. And for a good reason: it was a petty personal attack. Lost frame.
Everything else was either pretty funny or good advice though.
[–]goin_fishin 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
How exactly does that qoute show he lost frame??
I found it fairly amusing, though I don't know the context of it.
[–]Kyle2166 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Taking time out of your incredibly busy schedule to make petty personal attacks about someone's personal life is pussy shit. You think JFK would've done that? No
[–]goin_fishin 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
He is the perfect troll though. Take Melina's recent plagiarized speech..
Yeah Twitter is lame as shit but he owns it and uses it to bring him media attention which is why he is in the current position that he is.
[–]Kyle2166 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It is, but it is also why he won't win. Outrageous statements may win the republican primary but it won't sway moderates or democrats in the GE.

WHEN he wins he's going to be one of the greatest presidents in American history.
[–]gjs6286 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Hilary will win. Why? She has the Bluepill vote, the feminist vote, the SJW vote, she stands for women and the oppressed, she now has a lot of the Bernie vote, and it's likely already been decided by the powers that be that it's not an election, it's simply a vote of how many people wanted President Clinton to become President Clinton. A lot? A few? Doesn't matter.
The people who are sick of this shit and understand that Donald "IDGAF" Trump is the way forward are not as numerous as those who simply want to remain in their little BP "Utopia" where women rule and Black people can do no harm.
I will be glad to see Trump win; I just don't think it'll happen. It just doesn't fit into the Globalist narrative.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Trump will win. Trump believes in himself, Trump is determined, Trump is persistent, Trump is a fighter. He's gonna overcome almost every obstacle one could have politically, and crush someone who has basically every advantage one could have politically.
[–]Kyle2166 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
He's an entertaining guy and a fantastic marketer, but he isn't qualified to be president.
[–]jtzabor1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I feel that based on his manliness he is. He could probably get along with my favorite president Putin!
I can't tell if this is sarcasm. Hope so.
[–]Worst_Patch1-1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
he's so alpha he can literally have his wife plagiarize entire speeches and his supporters don't give a flying fuck, and he will probably beat hillary clinton.
Like, hillary DOES have qualifications. She fucked up a lot and I hate her. But she believes in climate change and will improve some economic stuff to a bit anyway.
Stiill a leathery hag.
[–]slimcoat0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
she believes in climate change
A religion in its own right.
[–]Worst_Patch10 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
denying climate change
Even if climate change isn't manmade, keeping the environment looking nice and not polluting our water ways is a fucking crucial thing for society.
We don't want to be like the chinese shitholes.
[–]slimcoat0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
keeping the environment looking nice and not polluting our water ways
that's entirely different than "climate change", which pretty much would agree with.

I find it funny that Trump's the first guy whose come along in a while who is telling these big globalist companies that they will have to pay more taxes if they put their assets off-shore, that immigration is going to be controlled (which increases the cost of labor, but more importantly denies the globalists long term votes), and that the tax code is going to be leveled out in favor of small businesses vs big companies who have written the current tax code.. And what do you know, the giant globalist companies / media have gone insane in their attacks on Trump. Everything he says is turned into a giant scandal, as if he was the anti-Christ himself. Give me a break- he is a slightly narcissistic, semi a-hole who is extremely successful and has leveraged his "negative" traits to create said successl.
An example of companies completely losing their minds are Google and Facebook- both of which stand to lose money if Trump wins as they pay far less in taxes by moving assets off shore- have both been caught doctoring search results and trending stories (respectively) against him...
Its one thing to examine the two candidates stances and decide you are not for Trump. That is respectable. But to give into this anti-Trump hysteria without critical thought is inexcusable for any red pilled man. Make your own decision.

There is nothing alpha about not having a single unique thought, or word you're willing to stand by. If you want to flip flop your opinions and promises on a minute-by-minute basis to gain the admiration of primarily low-lower middle class, unintelligent people (most of whom who still have confederate flags), feel free to do so. Also, a little research would shed light on the fact that Donald Trump is in the running for the worst business man of this generation -- taking into consideration inflation and NPV, his wealth has declined since birth. Not saying he's not incredibly wealthy, but absolutely none of it was earned, even by the scummiest of ways. Trumps wealth right now is the equivalent of you being born with 100 dollars and now having 10.
[–]helpicantstop0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Care to break this down for me friendo? You're saying he inherited more than ~4.2 Billion, adjusted for inflation?
[–]DontBeFredo1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sure, a conservative number that he inherited as a net worth upon his father's death would be 1.6 billion in 1999. Plug that into any basic financial calculator, with 16 time periods, assuming his money was sitting in either A) a mattress or B) a bank with world-standard interest rates, and the future value from 1999 would be approximately 3 billion. Take into account the inflation that worked against him from his current net worth of approx. 4.5 billion, and assuming the absolute minimum of depreciation on his assets (specifically hotels), he'd be juussst about breaking even. But, given that he is a self-proclaimed business mogul who does investments, it is pretty logical to deduce he wasn't just doing the standard investing of banks/mattresses, and was probably receiving a better interest rate. Meaning he is doing quite poorly relative to what he should be doing. What I'm saying is based off of a lot of assumptions, but any further research and you'll find people a lot more esteemed in finance supplying credence to the claim.

Now we are praising Trump, for fucks sake...
[+]1edwardhwhite-6 points-5 points-4 points 10 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
Trump has zero frame. He says a lot of "tough" stuff but loses frame and heads to twitter to complain at the drop of a hat.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Bullshit. He's not "complaining" on twitter he's leveraging social Media.
[–]1edwardhwhite0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
But the things he says will cause him to lose.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Right because it's really hurt him so far.
[–]1edwardhwhite0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Check the polls, trailing by 7.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
And won the republican nomination. Hillary's a shoe in, of course it's gonna take some time to take her down.
[–]1edwardhwhite0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He led start to finish in the GOP primaries in terms of polling. He's only trailed Hillary. Guy has zero frame, constantly acts butthurt. Lashes out, poor discipline, poorly run campaign.
W was the last GOPer to win the presidency and it was tight. He won 40% of the Hispanic vote. There are even more Hispanics now. Trump is at 13% amongst Hispanics. Its fantasy to say he's doing well.
[–]Kyle2166 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Is there anything less alpha than making personal attacks over social media?
If you were a private citizen doing it anonymously then, yeah. But when you're a public figure you can't fly arund the world giving different politicians/leaders a piece of your mind, so you use social media.
[–]Kyle2166 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Well, most politicians don't take personal shots at their opponents because it reflects poorly on them and takes away from their overall message.
Trump takes time to personally attack people who say things he doesn't like over social media. Sounds familiar? It should. Feminist shaming tactics 101. And he's paid for it. He's running against one of the least popular candidates in American history and is still managing to have a lower approval rating than she is.
Most politicians are politically correct and timid. If you want to make a statement about society, you use social media. Not only did he come in as an outsider and beat 16 professional politicians, he POUNDED them, he'll do the same to Hillary, in time.
Winning the republican primary with little serious competition and winning a general election where you have to sway moderates and people across the aisle are two completely different things.
Hilary is a more formidable opponent than Ted Cruz.
[–]returnofthemack2 -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
yeah, it's embarrassing that people on here look to trump as someone to look up to.
[–]p00pey0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Lot of dumb sheep in here. Trump is a loser that has leveraged his daddy's fortune to bully people and make terrible business decisions. Moron also got married thrice, sure don't sound very RP to me...
Pro tip: just cuz you hate Hillary doesn't mean you gottA love Trump. They're both born losers. And both will die losers. All the money in the world won't change that...
[–]returnofthemack2 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
yeah, when I think of red pill people, i dont think of a guy that whines and constantly posts stupid shit on twitter. He has no frame at all and like you said, his fortune was largely inherited. It's hard to fuck up too badly when you inherit that level of wealth. Considering his headstart in life, he's not even THAT rich compared to other rich people. I have no respect for the man
[–]polu85-2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh boy. Trump is like that rich spoiled kid who thinks he's tough but never had to eat shit in his entire life. No wonder guys here ride his dick so hard.
