I'm not even sure if this is the best course of action, but at this point, I'm desperate. I get the feeling I'm going to be lynched just for being here, so I'll post a disclaimer.

I'm not here to bash RedPill/RedPillers. I'm looking for advice as a woman married to a man who frequents RedPill sites, whose relationship is quietly sinking into the proverbial Bay.

I love my husband. We've been together for 8 years and married for five. We have a kid together. He's my best friend and God knows how much we've been through together. We're partners and allies. At least, we were.

In December 2015 he started reading into RedPill and that's when I noticed things started to change between us. Hes never been the most affectionate, but he started to become aggressive; He has constantly warned me against divorce rape and child custody battles and cheating, things I have never considered OR done in my life.

Since then, our ideologies have become polar opposites. His have become misogynistic, xenophobic, and racist (i know that this isn't necessarily RedPill, but the time frame does correlate) and mine have always been more feminist/sjw-y. We don't agree on these things anymore (maybe we never did?) But I can appreciate where he's coming from.

RedPill has some excellent points. Men DO get stepped on a lot by our court system and it often hurts everyone, especially the children. Women can be disgusting, awful people. Part of feminism is actually recognizing that, but I digress. His points when actually debating are completely valid, even eye opening. I can and do respect his opinion.

Two weeks ago, he told me he didn't want to move our relationship any further; no house buying, no more kids, that sort of thing. This was after a fight where I caught him deleting messages from his phone before giving it to me (we were playing pokemon go and I was going to hit up a PokeStop for him). Mainly I was mad about his refusal to apologise and then it turned into this.

The only reason he wants to stay in the same house as me is because it benefits us both to have one of us watching our kid (him) while the other works (me). He doesn't love me anymore. I've told him I'll do whatever it takes to make it work, make it better, but he has explicitly said he doesn't want me to.

I'm glossing over some details for the sake of brevity (which is kind of funny given how much I've written). I haven't been perfect, far from. but I've always been loyal, and always ALWAYS loved and forgave him. Still do.

I've never planned to "divorce rape" him, or try to take sole custody of our child. I grew up in that life, I've seen what it does to people, and I never want that for our child.

TL;DR:

My question to redpill; I don't want to divorce my husband. I love him and want to keep those promises we made five years ago, but he wants me to not bother trying, because he's stopped caring.

I don't want to give up. I want to stay married to this man and I'm willing to fight for him and our family. But I have no idea how to go about it. I don't know how to talk to him anymore. I've tried keeping my mouth shut on my different opinions, but that hasn't helped.

Help me redpill. I don't want to lose my best friend.
