I don't think people understand how laws affect people's actions. I don't know if this is a real rant, but if it were, this person would be assuming that men would walk around with deposits ready to give women so they can have meaningful conversations while the ones who would waste her time wouldn't talk to her, besides maybe a few people that would, but she'd keep their deposit so no skin off her back. First off, how would you even enforce that, what exactly does wasting her time mean and would we as a society hire Time Police that she can report to or is she the sole determinor? But let's say that wasn't a problem, the net effect of this rule is that men wouldn't talk to women at all. They would only talk to other men. Women wouldn't be affected by this law, so they would talk to other women. We would have more segregation. At first, I think some women might like this, but they would quickly hate it because women need attention to function like a car needs gasoline. In order to get this attention, she would have to initiate with men. I don't think most women would like this law.
