TL;DR : Lifters, aim for the planche push up it will just make you incredibly strong.

Hi gents,

Just a very short post in the fitness category.

I started lifting 1 year ago. While I am very pleased by my gains I recently challenged myself to achieve the planche and the planche push up.

I thought that after about a year of 5/7 hours / week of intense lifting I could do it. Boy, the planche and the planche push up are incredibly difficult. It is so hard that I buckled in under 1 second and laid on the floor laughing at how pathetic and weak I was.

My attempt at the planche push up humbled me like never before. I am at it since june with very little progress.

So here is what I want to say to all you lifters who think you have strength and parade in front of mirrors like peacocks ( I know you do it;) ) : aim for the planche / planche push up it will only make you stronger.
