Another note id like to add to this: stand for something, have beliefs dont be a wishy washy type who accepts another persons viewpoint completely without EXPRESSING your own. The different beliefs of religion in my opinion were quite literally formed because of men having a blief in their way, and sticking to it. The key is to talk about your views without being arrogant, but also being able to disagree or confront other people's views especially when decisions are being made.

If everyone wants to get plastered on a friday night, and you dont want to drink, say so firmly without being butthurt, you will be more loved than those who end up going with the flow and being depressed about not feeling fully part of the crowd. Ever wonder why some people feel lonely even amongst others? This is why.

My belief if you asked me, is exactly like bruce lee, i never stick to one path blindly but i absorb what is useful and discard what is unnecessary. This leaves me very open to new ideas, but still able to discern the bullshit from particular doctrines. .

It could be something as simple as the next venue you go to after a group dinner.

Obviously dont take it to the extreme as always, but have a viewpoint, stick to it, and dont be a sheep.

There is no Secret, Only hard work and perseverance

Make sure that all your hard work goes into yourself and something that you own.

Good: lifting, working on your mission, saving money, learning skills, investing (sometimes), practising and enjoying social skills, making friends, getting ahead in business.

Bad: "building a future together", saving for a ring or a wedding, supporting someone hoping they'll "pay it back in the end" or "it'll be worth it one day", "working on our relationship", working hard at your job when it doesn't benefit your career.

Yes I understand what you are trying to say, and your ideas aren't necessarily wrong. There really are no shorcuts in life. Lessons must be learned. Layers of garbage must be chiseled away until your true self is uncovered.

This quote is about eugenics, advocating a master white race and eliminating (euthanizing) criminals and lesser races from society. This quote has nothing to do with bettering yourself. Yes it can be taken as that but people use it completely out of context as you do.
