Never spend borrowed money on unnecessary consumables (women, cars, vacations, etc.)
Borrowed money is to be spent on investments only (starting a business, expanding an existing business, etc.)

Jesus Christ. Hopefully this dumb fuck can refinance his debt, find cheap rent, a better job, lose the weight, etc. He's an idiot, but he's a kid. I'm sympathetic. At least he fucked up this badly at 21 and not 41. If he survives this he'll come out a much stronger person.

Man I can't imagine being in debt 40k.

With that said when I was earning 40k a year as an entry level engineer with 25k of student loan debt I was driving a fifteen year old beater and wearing the same clothes from college. I made $1500 student loan payments each month and got out from under that shit in about two years (interest rate was about 7% at the time).

Been debt free since then, and it's great.

Depends. I dated exactly one girl that tried that, the rest did the opposite.

My thinking is that the advice that I hear a lot (predating TRP sub) is 'dont marry girls that try to get you to spend money, marry the ones that encourage you to save'.

So obviously women have heard and are aware of this advice, so they act that they to try to land a rock.

Maybe it depends if they see you as BB or not.

I mean logically, if you're considering marrying a man, you want him to have money, so why encourage him to blow it.
