If "creep" is used to describe and insult men- what word could be adopted to describe women without being labeled misogynist and harrassing?

There's a reason why "creep" never gets a reaction from society. Creep is about the standards that women have for men: one if a man is attractive, the other if he isn't. Behavior that an attractive man can get away with is not considered creepy, the same behavior, from an unattractive man, is creepy.

So, think about it, what would be a word that guys would use to describe advances made by unattractive versus attractive women? The good thing about "creep" is that it doesn't project a specific reason for the woman's disgust, its a "shadowy" word, with plenty of room for interpretation. "Fatty" for example, is specific, and can deflect back onto the person uttering it. "Creep" is perfect, its ambiguous enough to mean just about anything, but has no blow-back on the woman. Remember, in the realm of casual dismissal with a single word, being as unspecific as possible is your friend. "Small Penis" for example, is not nearly as good as "creep" for this reason. It also helps if the word has overtones of darkness to it, creep is a vaguer form of "stalker" or "rapist", it conjures up those connotations without the baggage of those later two words.

The perfect counter-word would have connotations of "gold digger" and "bitchy" built into it, in other words, it would be a catch-all word for female evil, but with none of the baggage and specificity of the other two words. Right now, I am at a loss to come up with something. Let me give it some thought.

Probably "plain" is the worst. There's nothing overly negative about it, but the worst thing for a woman is to be unworthy of attention, either positive OR negative. That fat hambeast on the bus with the purple hair, talking really loudly on the phone? At least she's not plain. She gets plenty of attention, even if a lot of it is negative.

So, I thought I would take a moment to go over some of the excellent suggestions that have been submitted in this thread. Before going further, I should point out that the job of engineering a LKS for women is much more difficult a task than engineering one for men, for two reasons:

-women have higher in-group gender bias. It is much harder to find a label for a woman that is vague, non-specific enough and takes the moral high ground in a way that gets other women to at least be noncommittal. Gaining the moral high ground against a woman is harder, because other women have a higher standard to reach before they'll break ranks then men do with other men. Hint: that's the reason why Donald Trump said he "doesn't think Hillary will be the democratic nominee". Hillary is the only person who scares Trump, because he knows engineering a LKS for Jeb Bush or Ben Carson is child's play next to engineering one for Hillary. There are so many female voters who will vote for Hillary just because she has a vagina (in-group gender bias). That's why Bernie Sanders would be routed by Trump in a general: there are so many LKSs for Sanders, that Trump doesn't need to do any work, he'll just pull them out of a hat until one sticks. Note, I make no moral judgment in any of this, its just how I see it.

-Men have white knights. There are no female white knights who will defend men, like there are male white knights who will defend women. Any LKS has to at least get the white knights to be non-committal.

Women have far more defenders who will run to her aid just because she has a vagina. There are manginas I have met who will vote for Clinton just to burnish their "pro-woman" bonafides (that is some serious white knighting). This makes engineering a LKS harder, but not impossible. I've already covered "flake" so here, I'll cover a few more that I've read in this thread:

"plain" - I like this one. It seizes the moral high ground, to an extent ("no, Mr. White Knight, there was nothing wrong with her, and she'd make a lovely LTR for you, but she's just plain, kinda normal-ish, which isn't enough for a high value man such as myself"), it implies no formal issue or fault with the woman, it merely indicates that you see yourself as higher value (confidence is sexy, and only the whitest of white knights disagrees with that). Its also vague-sounding, and implies both lack of negatives and lack of positives, but gives no indication of specifics. Its also a high level of abstraction. Women will be insulted by it, but will not understand what about it is insulting. Plain, after all, just means "average", and it means half the species is below that threshold, right? (plain is good at unlocking the "special snowflake hamster" ability). Its insulting, without people understanding quite why they should be insulted by it.

The minuses are it carries no negative overtones, like "creep" does (ie, there's no "shadowy", "rapey", "unattractive" hint to the word) and so, is not as good of a word. Part of the problem is that coming up with any LKS for women is harder than it is for men. Plain doesn't hint at her misbehavior, which is crucial to seizing the moral high ground ("creep" hints at vague misbehavior, he was being "creepy", etc)

"leech", "harpy", "succubus", "harlot", "parasite" etc. are all bad. You don't want to hint at a specific misbehavior, and you don't want to use a word that has negative baggage (baggage is key, don't go with something that has historically been used to attack women, that just causes them to close ranks). This is why, in politics, calling the GOP the "party of the rich" doesn't work. It doesn't move the needle, because it has too much baggage to. Democrats already believe it, so you should use it when speaking with your base, however, the GOP's backers have heard the word as an insult towards their party so many times that it doesn't have any sting and merely causes those backers to close ranks around the party. These words are really good when your talking with other non-white knight men, but should be avoided in mixed company.

So, with that, here's my entry. Again, I'm not sure how good my entry will be, relative to the other ones I've read. I've given it some thought, and hitting on something perfect is tough, but here goes:

The point of 'creep' is that it''s about as insulting as possible. It's no different than the n word, or antisemitic slurs, in it's purpose. The common use of 'dick' is another sexist term that many women feel free to use, at the same time that they would think it the height of misogyny to refer to a woman by any name for female genitalia. Do as I say, not as I do.

So, to me, women who call men creeps are cunts, and especially since it's used, most of the time, to express a woman's feeling about a man, regardless of what he does. A man that pays unwanted attention to a woman is a creep, even if that woman wants other men to pay attention to her - at a bar, for instance. That man has done nothing wrong, but he's a creep because she's not attracted. Fuck cunts like that. Women will have a right to object to being called cunts when they stop calling men creeps and dicks.

Most women are good, decent people. Most are very, very worthy of respect. But, there are individuals that are sexist cunts. Fuck 'em.

With out a doubt" firstpitchthrow" has given a totally profound description and analysis of what an "lks" is and how and why they are effective! I never even knew something like that existed! A very interesting read by "firstpitchthrow"! So far, i kinda like the lks "plain" i agree it isnt as perfect as "creep" but it definetly is close as firstpitchthrow has said- why i like it so far- basically women from the time they are little girls ,have been working on altering their appearances to impress the world .this behavoir continues until the day they die. I have yet to meet any female who has not participated in this ritual- even if she is just going to the beach or going camping! therefore -to say to a female "OMG your so plain"! Would be a shot straight to the marrow! Females are so entrenched in presenting themselves as unique and different from every other female on the planet- to call a female "plain" ,just might throw her off the deep end real fast! which is a start! Think about it- female"why dont you want to see me anymore"? Male "i dont know?" "Your kinda plain"! Lol!
