First post here, so let me give you some important backstory:

I've been aware of this sub for a few months now, and until recently, I scoffed at TRP's message. Like the rest of the Reddit Hivemind, I assumed that most of you were fedora-flaunting, woman-hating neckbeards, pretending to be alphas on the internet. Every so often, however, I would come here and read a couple of posts. I'm just doing this out of morbid curiosity, I would tell myself, but in reality, the philosophy of TRP really resonated with me. I won't give away too many details, but I'm a 16-year-old who is (allegedly) gifted in music and academics, but when it comes to my social prowess and motivation to succeed, I have jack squat. The self-improvement aspect of TRP really appeals to me because of this, and I strongly feel that I can become a better human being if I learn from this sub. However, there is one part of TRP that I'm not sure about: developing "game" and becoming a PUA of sorts. The idea that I would change my persona, my identity, just to attract girls who have ignored me my entire life disgusts me, as does the idea of casual sex. I'm the kind of guy who only wants "that special someone," a girl whom I can sincerely love and trust, but after swallowing the red pill, I've come to realize that serious monogamous relationships are difficult to maintain due to the short attention spans and unpredictable desires of most modern women. So, here is where my question comes in: can I embrace the TRP philosophy by focusing exclusively on myself and my goals, while ignoring the seduction part?

TL;DR is it true that bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks?
