A core issue in the dating market is supply and demand: dick is abundant, so sellers of dick have to sell themselves short to unload their supply. An obvious solution is the reduce the supply of dick to make dating more equitable.

Gender ratios matter a lot when it comes to the dating environment. College campuses where women outnumber men result in a favorable environment for men, with no requirements of elaborate courtship rituals; college campuses where men outnumber women conversely result in a favorable environment for women. Similarly, since men leave religion at higher rates than women, you get the same kind of environments forming in them: there's a reason that Utah has one of the highest rates of plastic surgery for women in the country, and there's a reason that Hasidic dowries paid to the groom's family in recent years have been increasing. Or, just compare San Francisco and New York City: despite some similarities, their lopsided gender ratios make dating much worse for men and women, respectively.

So, if dating is worse for men right now, the best solution is to decrease the supply of dick. If 20% of men have sex with 80% of women, why not just abort all the non-Chads? Everyone ends up happier.

The counterargument I anticipate most is that men are necessary to build a stable society, but it's unclear to me that that's true. The substantial subset of men shut out of the dating market also don't contribute much at all to society, and if we're talking about the men who generate wealth, you can easily select a small minority of them and get the vast majority of the wealth generation potential from that minority.
