I'm in college, and a lot of my friends have been getting girlfriends in the past year or so.

I've noticed that it's taken months for each of them to actually lock someone down, and they had to pursue multiple girls. I find this odd, since we're all varsity athletes, fit, above average looking, and not douchebags.

Myself, I've never had a girl so much as initiate a conversation with me, let alone hit on me. Why is this? Are college women just deathly afraid these days?
