Working here for 2.5 years, fired my manger to promote me, manage 3 people. I’m 25, really good at my job but my dept was told to be responsible for this security/fraud program to make sure no one tries to steal money under someone else’s identity essentially.

The program we use is so fucking vague it just says “decline” when authorizing a transaction and I have no fucking clue why. The only reasons we were put in charge of this is because we have the ability to cancel the transaction. Otherwise it is totally unrelated

So basically two incidents happen were there was a case of fraud and another person was wired the wrong money. I’m the only one doing this so I get attacked like why wasn’t this caught? Meanwhile I have no idea because I have no experience with this IT/security program I trade fucking stocks

So basically they are making a running back play the quarterback just Incase they decide to run at the QB

How do I get this out of this responsibility?
