Total sum of personality, childhood upbringing, knowledge, experience, how you act, … It's essentially how you act in life and how you react to external factors.

A woman has no frame of her own, she will only react to yours, her frame is like quicksand and will adapt to yours. She has to submit to your frame to have the right dynamic. (As long as your dominant, otherwise she’ll create the frame and you will lose her respect and kill the attraction.)

I had to acknowledge the times I lost frame when trying to understand frame.

Frame is just your energy whatever that may be. You might have a goofy frame, a serious frame, etc etc. But it’s your frame.

When someone gets you out of your frame, that’s when you don’t have a strong hold of your frame.

Example, you’re in a good mood, your girlfriend gets mad at you for something and then your emotions switch to match hers, she yells at you and now you’re yelling at her, you’re now in her frame.

If your girlfriend starts yelling at you and your emotions don’t change, you stay neutral and calm, congratulations you didn’t break your frame.

During an interaction between two parties each is trying to get what they want from the other. Between men and women this is usually deemed by TRP to be sex and commitment with the man wanting sex without commitment and the woman wanting commitment without sex. Holding frame is not letting the other person get what they want at the expense of you getting what you want.

It's not that complicated, frame is simply "your reality" (mindset, words, actions).

A "strong frame" is not allowing others to alter your reality in a negative way.

Frame is you. Frame is everything. It is not only how people perceive you, but also who you believe you truly are. In laymen terms, how you act according to certain situations exemplify a person's frame. For example,

Scenario 1: A close friend of yours passes away, deeply devastating you. You and your family are at the wake or funeral:
1. Bad Frame: You're crying and sobbing. You can't believe that your best friend passed and now you feel a part of you is empty and lost. You feel defeated.
2. Good Frame: You can't believe that your best friend passed and you feel an empty void inside of you. However, you keep in mind that crying doesn't bring him back. This is spilled milk. He is gone and life goes on. You shed a tear, hold your chin up high, and make that mother fucker proud by living his life vicariously through yours.

It's a mindset when a shit sandwich is thrown at you. We are all eating it either way. Are you going to eat it feeling bad about yourself or with a smile on your face?
