A few years ago (possibly 4) I went on a first coffee date with a guy I was talking to from okcupid. The date was horrible. He talked about his ex the whole time. They were together for 12 years and broken up for six months before I met him. He was still not over it. I knew she went to med school and became a doctor at the age of 27. They broke up because of religion differences. I tried asking more questions about him but he somehow would bring up his ex. I cut the date short. After the date, he asked me if I liked him in text. I said I wasn’t sure because I don’t know him. I also mentioned he talked about his ex the whole time and said perhaps he doesn’t realize it but he might need time to sort out his feelings. He got angry and cursed me out then blocked me.

Fast forward to recent day( few days ago) I activated hinge dating app again and few days later, this guy liked my picture with a convo opener “wow you are adventurous” on my bungee jump picture in New Zealand. He probably doesn’t remember me but I remember him because he was one of the worst dates I ever had. I didn’t reply and simply hit “X” next! No thank you dude
