I know the cool kids here don’t advocate exposing a potential partner to FDS, but I want to know his knee jerk reaction once I get a feel for his integrity and intent. The guys who spout off men’s rights bullshit or can’t see how stupid the idea that conning hapless men into buying you dinner is (due to the incredibly low ROI) tell me all I need to know. Also, dudes who are afraid of getting #metoo’d can hit the bricks because they obviously don’t understand how to approach and interact with women without possibly making them feel threatened or know that ‘no’ is the end of their pursuit. I also have a go at them about politics, science and religion right away. These are the ways I asses a man’s critical thinking skills.

I’ve gone this long without being manipulated into an abusive relationship and I have always had an instinct for protecting my financial interests, but I can see why keeping FDS to yourself is a good idea for lots of people. I want to spend the rest of my life alone or with my next partner and once the sexy time fires begin to wane, what we will be left with mostly involves enjoying each other’s company. I don’t want to live in an echo chamber, but don’t come at me with a fatally ill-considered argument and expect me to get hot for you later.

I feel like they don’t realize many of the attractive, intelligent women they do try to hit up are.....either FDS or believe in many FDS values LOL. Even before I found FDS I learned to follow many of the guidelines and I never struggled with finding someone to go on dates with me.
