This made me laugh so hard. 🤣 Whenever I see the cutesy ending in these stories, I think "Now where's the REAL version?"

I laughed because it’s funny because it’s way too true. Except that it’s not actually funny...

I remember I asked my ex some of those “what would you prefer” questions, and one of them was “would you prefer to win so much money you could buy and do anything. Or to find your one true everlasting love.” Or something along those lines. He chose the money, and I thought he was joking! What an idiot I was. I thought he was joking because he seemed sooo loving - always very affectionate, and always said nice cutesy loving things and how much he loved me etc.

But now that I’ve left him I realise it was the truth. Hah. He was so dodgey behind my back. I thought he loved me truly and thought he was so happy to have met the love of his life and his world (his words). A woman who was way out of his league (his and everyone’s words.) man, I was so naive. He spent the whole time bringing me down behind my back. And it’s true just when you’ve had enough. They kick you when you’re down some more.
