I just poked around that sub, and it’s a headache inducing dumpster fire. They’re obsessed w/ FDS, and most of their posts distort content from the sub to spin their own agenda. Meanwhile, they admit that they’re more superficial than we could ever dream of, yet no one bats an eye.

This is so interesting to me as a woman who has been both (pretty, then unpretty, now pretty). Men treat you a LOT worse when you're not as pretty, and I'm realizing that they just treat you the way they treat other men, for the most part - you're largely ignored (which sometimes can be good). Guys are garbage to each other lmao until it comes to teaming up against women.

So yeah, as an ugly unfeminine woman, you're treated basically like a man by other men, except with zero of the social benefits maleness offers.

When I was younger, maybe 12-14, I was harshly bullied in school for being tall and unattractive. Now that I'm 20, I feel I'm normal in terms of my level of attractiveness, but I try not to put all my energy into that. I'm going to school to be an attorney, I volunteer, I'm more focused on being beautiful on the inside rather than the outside.

I'm fairly optimistic, and it was pretty disappointing to read men spout off about how they treat ugly women vs. pretty women. Disgusting actually. In my 20 years, I don't think I've ever heard a woman say "well I'm just more comfortable around ugly men, I feel like they're one of the girls." I also have never seen people be so arrogant.

I don't know, I guess this is more of a rant, but it's just yet another example of me losing faith in humanity.

I had some respect for the guys that said they treated both equally. Some of those douchebags can be really cruel just because they don't find a woman attractive. I'm never mean to an ugly guy just because he's ugly. I would treat both with respect, so long as they deserve it.

"I treat beautiful women worse" - I call that "horny rude", when a guy negs and purposefully antagonizes you for no reason whatsoever. They want you to fight for their approval, so it absolutely destroys them when you ignore their rudeness or tell them their opinion doesn't matter.
